SEEKING TIME/WORK SPONSOR - no perfection required!

Dear all,

I'm really in need of a sponsor because, it turns out (laughter intended), i can't do this alone!

I am reminded recently that I tend to do better with a sponsor to whom I look for help in conjunction with being of service to my own sponsees, rather than just having peer-to-peer relationships -- for some reasonable I'm just less likely to feel obliged to be accountable or follow through with my commitments in the latter situation.

I don't need anyone to have necessarily worked all of the Steps and certainly not to have perfect recovery from procrastination -- I just need somebody who can be supportive in a loving way but also be available in a very simple, basic way for me to turn over my actions, perhaps at a certain time in the morning, and try to find a gentle but structured way to be accountable about my schedule. I simply cannot lead a manageable life with a manageable schedule on my own willpower.

I know that I know how to counsel others on healthy decisions -- the problem is not lack of knowledge, it's compulsive decisions to ignore intuition and my own best interest. When I get support from the outside, I am much more likely to walk through - rather than indulge in - those compulsions.

Please let me know if you're available. I'm also offering myself as a sponsor, as I believe that will help me just as much as receiving support.

Many thanks, in fellowship,
