Phone Check-ins Still Ongoing?

I was wondering whether other members are still calling in for these. I checked in today several times but was the only one on the conference call. Would love to join in on the next call if there is one.

@Edge re: phone check-ins

Hi Edge,

Were you asking about the 15-minute phone meetings? Yes those are still happening Monday through Friday. With 11:00am Eastern added Saturdays.  There may be times when nobody comes, but usually we have a meeting.

Or ... were you asking about the opportunity to do two-minute check-ins at at half past each hour throughout the day -- 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, etc. -- throughout the day? Yes those are always available, but not always attended.

Oftentimes we arrange at the end of the 15-minute morning meetings to meet each other at specific times later in the day for the quick check-ins. Occasionally, people pre-arrange with one another to meet for a late evening check-in. There is no requirement to prearrange with someone to meet -- you can just show up and hope that others do, too.

It looks like you called in on what is Saturday in North America.  There has been much less use of the line on weekends.  However, participation is welcomed, and perhaps this discussion will serve as a way to let others become aware that this free resource is available.

How to dial in from countries not on the above list:

I called the conference company's customer service and I learned that
they will be adding more countries -- gradually -- whenever they can
work out the technology and business details for each location.

For now, if your country isn't on the above list:

Dial into ANY other country on the list that your personal
phoneservice has a good calling plan with. It would cost you the same
as if you were dialing a friend or relative in that country.

Check it out with your personal phone company -- there may be a good
deal to call some other country that you hadn't previously thought of
dialing into.

Locations not currently on the list ... but might be added in the future
(listed in alphabetical order):

  1. Austria
  2. Bulgaria
  3. Canada
  4. Chile
  5. Czech
  6. Finland
  7. GCC/Arabian Peninsula
  8. Ireland
  9. Nigeria
  10. Poland
  11. Romania
  12. Slovenia
  13. Switzerland

Info as above-( movingalong the last page is pretty crowded so I  put new comment here)

*67 is CallerID block

If you want to, in the USA you can dial *67 before dialing a number and it will block the receiver from seeing your normal CallerID information. You might choose to do this to increase anonymity on 12-step call-in lines. Some phones let you store the *67 in front of the phone number right in Contacts.

There might be a similar feature in other countries.

Note, for the above phone line the administrators currently have no way of seeing who's on the line, and we trust them not to acquire this ability.
