Sunday 14 December 2008

Welcome to Sunday!

pro's check-out - 11:55pm

I wasn't as productive today as I was yesterday and the day before, but I still did pretty well. I was getting lonely from being by myself at home too much. I read the NY Times at a cafe then went to a meeting and felt better.

Dishes are washed, teeth brushed, I'm ready for bed.

Spent this morning hanging out with a friend and going to church, now I need to do some work.

Tasks:
*Log food and exercise
*Go over 6 probability lectures
*Email DP, call AG
*Do 3 questions from pset 12
*Fix interactome
*Start new runs and scans
*Finish table of coregs.

Whew! That's a lot to get done. But I'll just take it one step at a time and get done as much as I can. I'm going to start with log, then I'll go over probability

Isabella CI 1:05pm

Hi everyone!

Today's list:
1. Clean BA (30 mins)
2. Unpack/organize BR (30 mins)
3. Wash/dry hair (1.5h)- Peregrine..it takes me a while too!
4. Buy Christmas tree (1h) - Decorated too!!! (Took longer than expected)
5. Dinner w/ friends (~2h)
6. Organize desk(45 mins) only did 20 mins - better than nothing i guess
7. Read (45 mins) only 20 mins
8. Exercise (45 mins)-maybe??? probably wont happen but I put it here anyways....: )- of course this did NOT happen(but I decorated the tree so i'll call that productive procrastination)

Well, i did not do everything I set myself to do but overall it was a very productive Sunday. This CI's really help. I have to say that my usual Sunday will consist of 8-10 hours of TV or internet. All the while worrying about all the stuff that I need to do. So I am very happy with accomplishments today. Thanks for your support. You guys really make a difference.

Recycler CI 1pm + notes/ imperfection yesterday

Hi!

Super busy yesterday & today.

For Sunday, this is about my earliest opportunity for CI.

Some moving & cleaning projects this morning. Talked with relative, did some driving around. Did errand for self & relative.

During the rest of the day: sort out items from store. I have at least 3 categories of purchases from the same store that need to be separated for their correct uses.

Notes on yesterday's imperfection. I almost could not do my various projects & tasks yesterday, because I knew none of them would be perfect. And right, none of them turned out perfect, and everything took longer than expected, but by 5:30 yesterday I had them done and I felt great & could relax. I am posting this to acknowledge it to myself. Because regularly the concern about imperfection wins & I wait until another day (which usually doesn't matter, but for this weekend it did matter ;) Anyway, this is an example of how this board helps me, because posting yesterday morning helped me get started.

Have a great day, everyone! :)

Thank you, gals & guys, for being here! :)

Peregrine's CI

This is my first time trying this. I'm not feeling well today so I'll probably stay in.

[X] Do two loads of laundry (one done, one to go)

[] Tidy up the house (set timer for 15 minutes per room)

[] Cook slow-cooker risotto

[] Address Christmas cards / look up people's addresses

[] Call P and A

[] If I have the energy, call K (at night)

[] Wash hair (I have very thick Afro-textured hair, so this is a PROCESS, lol)

[] Do something Project X-related; doesn't matter what so long as there's movement on the timeline

[] Look online for dollhouse furniture for my niece

I would love to attend the 12-step meeting today -- particularly since I had a bad moment earlier today -- but since I'm so new here I feel like I need to read up some more before I join in.

Hi Peregrine :) Glad you are here :)

Hi Peregrine!

pro's CI - 8:30am (heading to chatbox)

I'm finished with breakfast and headed to the chatbox - need to get dressed, make the bed, pack up stuff to return (in box I got yesterday), work on Project X. Chickpeas and chicken broth are already simmering on the stove.

Chick's CI

Lots to do; starting a bit late, but I feel rested at least. Today I really need and want to finish the items up to batch 3.

[x] minutes c. (leave m. v. for after work tasks): done and sent

[x]batch 1: starting this now: DONE

[x] now put in laundry other minor chore

[x]batch 2-starting and working on 3 a in conjunction with it. Fetch more info and continue; first done DONE

[1/3 done] batch 3 a,--most of 3a done-- b, c

--the two preceding were most important. They are done. Maybe I set my list too long.

[] household repair--this may have to wait--this must wait. Keeping to sleep routine is more important.

[x] sort/recycle--do in morning.

[small bit done] other housework--not done today.
