I just banned a spammer who created 12 accounts trying to get in yesterday. This is time consuming. I wish they'd go away. I guess I could just leave the accounts in the pending stage. They can't post that way anyway.
I woke up at 4am with a bad migraine. I was up for 1.5 hours trying to deal with my head and then went back to sleep briefly. I hope I can get to work today at a reasonable hour.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Procrastination is the grave in which opportunity is buried.
I just wanted to say thank you very much for braving the spam monsters. I hope you get some relief from the migraine... As for getting to work on time, this is currently my hurdle too. I finished a big project and have since been slacking big time. I am just not working enough hours. No one notices yet, just me, but I'm spending all day ramping up and ramping down when I come in late. It would be one thing if I would force myself to stay late, (which sometimes feels like a fun time to really sink my teeth into a project), but my body rebels now. I'm just getting to be old and can't play my old time binging tricks without suffering the consequences.
My friend advises hypnotism. I'll let you know how it goes.
I've been coming in very late - often 11am - but I stay late. I almost never leave before 7pm, and occasionally I'm there until 8pm. When I'm there after everyone else has gone I start to feel very sorry for myself, but then I remind myself that if I want to leave on time, all I have to do is get to work on time. Since I'm putting in my hours, no one has complained. But I don't like staying so late.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Procrastination is the grave in which opportunity is buried.
That's about what my schedule is like. 11am for the last three days... and I'd easily be there till 7 or 8 if there were absolutely no other contingencies. But I have an hour commute at the end of the day when most people would be eating dinner and winding down. To add a complication, I've been pretending I'm like other people and have scheduled things to do in the evening sometimes, so I then HAVE to leave or I'll be messing up that other plan. That's when coming in as late as that starts to feel like I'm just being a slacker. Blech. Fortunately, this isn't so chronic that it's a problem for anyone yet. I just have to find a way to motivate myself to be at least an hour earlier in the morning. That wouldn't be so bad for anyone and I could still stay late if I needed to...
