9:05am CI for Lark

Hope everyone's doiing well today. I've been procrastinating on one thing for a long time, and now I'm paying for it. I began the old classic response of blaming everyone and everything, etc.  but I'm looking at my part in it, and the bottom line is the situation wouldn't be this way if I'd have done what I should've done (4th step stuff). Although I'll be juggling several things, I need to take care of this thing this weekend. Please think some positive thoughts for me!
To do:
(X)morning
(still working)dreaded situation
house cleaning routine
(X)get supplies
(still a mess)workshop sort out
phone call list: a, b, c, d
(didn't)go to afternoon 12 step meeting if: A I "need a meeting", and B I'm not using it as a means to procrastinate other things

how did you do today, lark?

I looked for your check-in. Did you get stuff done from your list today?

Still goin'

Despite a few setbacks, things are working. I'm still at it. More later. It does help to check in here from time to time for a few minutes.

Me, too.

I know what you mean. Even if I'm not involved in a conversation thread, it helps just to know that people are logging on to the site to check in; makes it feel more dynamic, I guess.

I know what you mean too.

Sometimes I feel weird posting my thoughts and intentions--like when you're out and see someone talking to himself. It really helps alot when someone gives some feedback or a pat on the back. I still don't have my list done, and I'd like to get my mopping done before turning in. Same with dishes.

Almost midnight

Well, I only got half of my work done and am bushed. Hope you and Pro did better! =)

pro's first check-in - 8:15am

I've been putting together a to-do list - master list of the many things I need to get done. Now I can choose from that this weekend. It's going to rain today, so I'll do laundry tomorrow (I have to bring the laundry down a few blocks).

Today... put up hooks for my plants (that's been on the list for a while), clear off the pile on my desk (ditto), exercise... Not sure what else. Get dressed and have breakfast first.
