A very late check in. I started the thread and got involved in other things so todo today:

up prayer reflection meditation
deal with emails phone messages post
clean up kitchen etc
write journal
work on landlord file and letter
work on local authority file and write letter(s)
phone friend re last night
put up table for papers
that's it for the moment

Regards Rexroth

Rexroth 20.22 BST

I've just finished letter to landlord and emailed it. Wanted to leave it till tomorrow to finish but it would not have been any better. I've read the file on local authority and planned letters now I need to write them.

And neither of the above are really what I feel I should be doing.

'should' is a problem

Night Folks Rexroth

10:00am CI for Lark

This has been a rough week, with all sorts of interruptions. When I get thrown off track, it's difficult for me to get back where I was. Does this happen to anyone else--and how do you get back again?

To do:
(X)morning routine
cleaning routine
work on main work project
make hard copy of today's list and carry it with me.
start on kitchen wall.
check in here every few hours

GETTING BACK ON TRACK

usually what i find helpful, is writing a new to do list as though no efforts have been put forth to remind us of those negative thoughts.  feeding into the negative by reminding us of the failure and/or negative doesn't help.  because the term you refer to getting back on track could be the negative approach, which in fact makes it difficult to begin. therefore, presenting yourself with a new to do list certainly will give your mind a positive approach instead of the negative view.  on the days i wrote the new to do list, because the day before and/or the prior week was terrible. it was this day i'd found satisfaction within myself by not givning into what i could not change.  include on the new to do list e.g. no interruptions will be tolerated today.  therefore, if you are interupted by chance this thought will come to mind giving you the power to say i am busy or i will have to talk to u later.  which has and/or will continue to cause further delays.  you have the fortitude to move forward to give way for the new day to begin.
