Playing catch-up all day.
Hard time getting started today. Blech.
Namely, I need to focus on my editing project. If I could get a good chunk of that done today, I would be happy. It is supposed to be finished today, but I don't know if that will happen. Time to start working.

an afternoon for admin, and the pile of paperwork and phone calls has been growing while my back was turned. And everybody seems to want things yesterday. Oh well, here goes...
Having really bad thunderstorms here since last night. Another big one in the past hour. It's so dark out that I just want to stay in bed even though I was already in bed since 10 last night! I have to get work done today because leaving this afternoon for a big dental appointment. I pray that the weather subsides long before my appointment!!!
To do today:
Put dishes away and load washer
Write 5-6 if I can
*Pick up cash around 12:45pm, leave for dentist around 1:45pm
RECOVER FROM DENTAL WORK REST OF AFTERNOON/EVENING
Start job apps & continue writing if able
Read Bible + write out verses
UA phone meeting + fill out timesheet for week
breakfast, HP, dog walk, meeting, osteopath appointment arranged (yay!), emptied dishwasher, loaded washing machine.

have dinner at friend's place

It's an inside job...
Yesterday was not good - I had one of my most unproductive days in recent history. I attempted working for 10 hours and probably got less than 4 hours actual work done. I did zero chores around the house except for making a quick dinner.
So, what do we do about this? I've been doing really well lately mainly because I've had deadlines and I've been working closely with co-workers. Now the pressure is off and I need to re-learn how to motivate myself. I will not spend today feeling guilty about yesterday but instead I will get right back on track and put in a good day's work today. I have my pomodoro and I'm making my todo list early before exercise.
Off to make todo list, then exercise and have breakfast, then I'll check in again.
Update 7 am: My son is on the way over to pick something up so I'll go ahead and post my todo list and then exercise to a video rather than taking a walk. Here goes:
ok that's about 11 hours - throw in an hour for meals and breaks, and I should be done with everything by 7 pm and have a couple of hours to relax. OK GO!
update 6 pm - much better than yesterday. I need to make dinner and do some evening chores. If I review my goals sometime during the evening I'll call that one done and maybe I'll even be able to check off everything today . . . much better!
