Maybe my whole work life will be nothing but progressive 5-minute bursts!!!

Progress; Check-In Fri. 6/15

Hi everyone. I'm off to a very late start. Woke up at lunchtime thanks to a headache and generally feeling bad. My recovery meeting did not go so well for me last night, and I'm feeling isolated from people again. Having a hard time trusting that things will get better for me so must do more prayer. Not expecting much of myself today. But I really do need to start earning money and every day I waste is less money in my savings account. God help me, please.

1. Eat breakfast.

2. Read Bible.

3. Attend UA phone meeting, though I missed them all this morning. Wish they had afternoon meetings.

4. Do step workbook.

5. Re-read PA Tools of Recovery.

6. Do online recovery course.

Show up (done)

chipping away. My goal is to do at least 1 item (start to end) per day, so far so good.

Yesterday I had meetings and errands out of the house/office all day and never checked in here. We are still trying to get gone on vaca, but the service dept at our RV dealership apparently has worse procrastinators on staff than even I am!  I could be upset but since I totally get them, why bother?  They are just me in the mirror.

Also someone suggested that perhaps God has this vaca happening right on time - I just didn't know what "time" it was!  I like that.  Since I've struggled with lateness my whole 59+ years, I've often seen how God will use this defect of mine to work a "coincidence" that couldn't have happened had I been "on time" in the world. Still, I covet the promise that lennon highlighted in today's thread-starter. I wonder what that would feel like, to arrive early, prepared and clear of mind.

I have very little billable work right now but still lots to do - :
Step 11
Call K
CorpExp draft
Bill client P
Pay backlogs as funds allow
Budget the trip
Replace scooter batteries
Find a ramp for J's scooter (or another way to transport it on vaca)
Clear desk
Clear Task pop-up
Clear 20 emails
Submit 2 listserve drafts
Check and set sprinklers
Stop paper and mail
Pick up camper at dealer
Pack clothes, meds, gear, groceries
