So far, I have done weekly planning.

I'm going to try a new strategy for this week, to deal w/ my tendancy to make huge lists and not get through everything and feel like a loser and procrastinate as a result...I will list 1-2 tasks at once, do them, and then add when I finish.

So, to start:
Re-make figure 7 Slow, but done at 4:30pm Smile
VAD check

Book listings(made progress but didn't quite finish)

Time to rest up from a big weekend, but there are a few things I want to get done.

  • 1 load of laundry
  • clean out fridge
  • take vitamins 
  • Figure out what to make for dinner
  • dinner
  • dishes
  • straighten bedroom
  • Filing/dresser - threatening to become a pile again!
  • repot a plant
  • clean out the junk drawer
  • Redo habit tracker
  • Find the grill book
  • make a short grocery list for tomorrow 
I am totally off track on many of my good habits, after a couple of very stressful weeks.   I had been doing very well with my diet, exercise, daily quiet time, avoiding nervous habits, cutting down on caffeine . .. all that flew out the window the past couple of weeks.   I've been eating sweets, not exercising much, drinking too much coffee, picking at my hair and fingernails, and I haven't even been flossing!   Time to get back to mindfully taking care of my health.   To start with, I'm going for a jog/walk now.

I haven't made a lot of progress on that todo list.   I'm going to have my quiet time now, then marinate the chicken.

Working non-stop all day yesterday, still a lot of studying not accomplished. DD kept up till 1:30 am and woke up at 6:15 am.. Tired and angry. 

Side note: luckily, DD went back to bed at 7:15 am and DH made sure I slept in. Laughing

Plan for today: 

  • LR - finish up the remainder of Wk 7(doing it now). Plan for Wk 8. Too sleepy to concentrate.
  • CS 101 - finish up - 4 videos & 4 quizzes (doing it now). 1.5 left - v/q
  • Pay bills (will do tonight).
  • LG - 5 games (including 1 redone).
  • Try to not get sick. Lots of fluids, honey and hot soup.  Workout - 30 min.

Completed today:

  • Washed and hung the curtains
  • Dishes
  • Laundry - 3 loads washed/dried; steamed.
  • Patio - cleaned up, pulled weeds, cut rose bushes.
  • Played with DD.
  • Shopping - KS, VS, NE. Entered receipts.

Finding a way CI / back again

10 am

Derailed from regular check in due to taking a couple of days off and part of the weekend to travel to town. I attended my older son's graduation :) and a family dinner for my mother's birthday among other things. Then yesterday when I got home needed to help my husband with unexpected (small) medical emergency.

I have made my list for the week and looked at a few emails but haven't had my shower yet :blush:  Time to do that now!

I want to thank my Higher Power for this program, this website, the telephone and online meetings, and my life.

Things I will do today

1. Go to some meetings

2. Test blood sugar twice

3. Take shower

4. Get dressed

5. Wash and dry clothes

6. Put clothes away

7. Go to my mother's apartment

8. Go to the store

9. Put food away

10. Eat my meals

11. Do numbers
