Coupla carryovers from yesterday -  I will tell myself it's ok, and not get hung up on it as a failure of any sort. 
Download the editing work due tomorrow
Complete at least half the edit jobs due tomorrow
Catch up cjc emails
Schedule at least 3 lab tests
Start my final report on Proj B
Also I need to return a call to the vet

Finally, biggest MIT of the day; Prep, dress and be on time for grandson's graduation tonight.  He is the first male in my husband's family EVER to complete high school so this is a really BIG DEAL - the kind that, as an addict, I am prone to completely blow. So I am asking my Higher Power to help me suit up, show up, be on time - and let it be all about him and not about me.

Very upset today after talking to my sister.

She always asks me what have I done, what am I doing to look for a job.

After four years of job searching off and on, I'm sick and tired of looking for a job.

I have a crummy part time job I hate. I can't believe myself that I've sunk this low.

Also I have some volunteer work to catch up on that's eating away at me. So, today I will devote my time to finishing it and if I don't get it done today, then I do it on Sunday as I'm working on Saturday.

Am very agitated because of my sister. I will listen to some relaxation tapes before I start work to calm me down and hope that helps.

Tasks for today:

  1. Pay TD
  2. Investigate therapy
  3. Finish newsletter
  4. Wash dishes and blouse
  5. Run

Actually at work at a decent hour, yay!

So far this week I've done about 1/3 of what I was hopping to...yikes!
Oh well, I'll do my best today, work hard over the weekend, and it will be OK.

I have a mtg w/ my adviser at 1:30 

Main other task for the day is to analyse R8/S8 data.
That means:
*Project and pick boundaries (about 2/3 done with this)
*Filter (halfway done with this)
*Circle
*Stage
*Analyze

I would also like to:

Tons of meetings at work tomorrow. If I go to sleep now I shouldn't be too sleepy. I'll drink some coffee. I'll be fine since I have to go to these meetings.

I'd like to do more work tomorrow after normal hours, and then I'd like to spend some time with my little brother catching up on some TV series and sleep in tomorrow.

Thanks for the promise, lennon.

Reflecting on this promise I can see how this is something within my reach, but I am vulnerable to self-sabotage. It is the old problem of not knowing how long things take. Well, really I do have some idea of how long preparation takes me, but I find it hard to accept how slow I am. So then, instead of allowing the time I really need, I punish myself for being 'too slow' by not allowing enough time, so that I am rushed, ill-prepared and/or late.

Today I aim to finish Project K, and do a few other things on my list.
