A new day... to begin, leave yesterday behind, present in the present moment. One small step is infinitely more than nothing. Every step along the path is a step forward.

well I wrote a nice post hours ago and lost it - grrrr... major tech probs with my laptop today, apparently picked up an Office bug over the weekend. Anyhow I have to take the rv title to the bank and ask for a loan today and i am really scared about this.  we have not had serious fear of financial insecurity for several years but we made some poor choices last year and the tax bill is ginormous and our options are quite limited.  so a-begging we shall go....yeccch.  off to chat past the intertia...

THe IRS will do a payment plan, I know this from experience :)   Having said that, you really don't want to eff around with the IRS.   They WILL get their money.

Journey 7:45 & updates

Good morning!   Working from home today so I'll be here frequently.   First, exercise, then breakfast, then todo list.   I'll check back when those are done, and post my todo list here.

Update 10:30

  • Exercise
  • Planning
  • DP Stuff - started - this is still ongoing
  • Project M - upload, apply
  • Project D meeting
  • Project O - think of ways to solve problem with G -have an idea!
  • PO doc
  • goals review
  • backup current folders if time
  • CT if time
  • error message if time
  • dishes
  • dinner
  • laundry started
  • cat litter
  • leo's webcast
  • YNAB
  • Quiet time
  • RP if time
  • all electronics off half an hour before bed, read and relax with a cup of tea

Update 6:45  - completed all work mits, didn't do the 'if time' items, I don't know why I even bother putting them on the list  :P.  Now to make a quick dinner, do the dishes, finis the laundry and update  YNAB (you need a budget) .   If time (again, why bother even saying it!?) think about retirement planning, and/or watch the webcast.   I have an old IRA I need to roll over or do something about and I keep putting it off (big surprise).

Tuesday 9.30 am

Thanks for starting the thread, chickadee. Wondering if I am the only one who can't read all the text (some is behind the picture)? Maybe it's just my browser?

Back to regular work after the Easter break. Did some social things and some catch-up around the house over Easter, though not as much as I would have liked to see done. Experiencing something of a set-back, my knee problem has flared up again, makes it difficult doing things and pain can be distracting. But will try bike riding this morning anyway.

Otherwise, back to my work list. Want to remind myself to do plant ID today, even if it seems time-consuming or frustrating.

All the best to everyone here for your day! :)
