I just wanted to show up today. I haven't been very consistent with doing or checking in. I have so many unfinished projects going on at the same time...

In any case, a productive day to all!

frog_princess continuing to come back

frog_princess, continuing to come back is the first step. It may not seem like much, but take it from many here, it is infinitely more than not showing up. It is a step on the path to recovery! Good work!

I failed my way to success- Thomas Edison

Yesterday: I was only able to do two out of the the four goals. I was going to do the other two but my cat needed to be taken to emergency pet clinic last night because he was attacked by a animal outside, and because I procrastinated and hadn't taken him to get his latest vaccinations, he now at risk of all sorts of illnesses, so he's on antibiotics. I have no excuse and he has to suffer because of me. So, this morning I got up early so I can:

1. Get him wet food to take his pills with

2. Get him a cone (poor kid)

3. A new collar

4. CALL TO MAKE AN APPT WITH VET FOR VACCINATIONS!!!

4. Duct tape from Michaels (not fo him but for my program tonight at work that I forgot to get)

Writing these lists makes me realize how much more I have to do but just don't think about it. Tons of small things that are so far from my mind but that I should do everyday. Ex. take all my vitamins, exercise, drink water and eat on a regular basis.

show up(done) do the next right thing. (i hope)

pray for willingness to be willing..

have not had chance to check in pa couple days, but didnot shut down, thanks for being here.

checking in, showing up...

I've been a bit distracted this week and that was partly to do with the presentation I had to give, which I was stressing over in preference to actually preparing it... I was lucky to get away with the minimal amount of proper research I did... But anyway that's out of the way now and I feel a lot more positive about 'getting stuff done that NEEDS doing'. No-one can do it FOR me, I have to remember that, but I also know I can't (and don't have to!) do it ALONE. That's why I love PA and this program and all of you, my fellow-procrastinators. Big mental/spiritual hugs to you all :).

  1. vacuum all the dog hair off my sheets before putting it in the laundry (yuck)
  2. leave for my meeting in time (with freshly made flapjacks yay)
  3. hang out for coffee afterwards
  4. have a quick shower at home
  5. head to the osteopath appointment: I'm afraid he's going to be seriously cross with me for not doing the exercises... :(
  6. home, meal, connect with daughter (technically done, by text message...)
  7. go to another meeting to support my friend in her new commitment
  8. finish decluttering/tidying/cleaning my bedroom
  9. water plants
  10. walk dogs
There's quite a lot and some in the wrong order but at least it's become a list rather than a jumble in my head.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Continuing to Come Back

Im here, even though I haven't done very well this week.  I'm not sure if my lists are too long, too lofty, or what the problem is.  The first few days i was really excited about this new accountability tool, but i've let it slip this week.  I've thought, "I need to do those things." but have decided not to do them.  Im hoping i will get better.  HEre's my friday list

Get up at 6:20, you need to be at school earlier to do the notes.  You can do this and won't be tired.  Don't believe the lie when you wake up and it seems "too hard"

see all students on your list.
