Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.
I've been finding it really difficult to focus lately, but have a theory as to why: it's my first year anniversary of ditching the booze etc!! Goodness gracious me, an entire year, and apparently one can feel a bit out-of-sorts on your 'birthday'. I don't know why. Probably a sort of reaction.
Anyway, I have left out my yoga practice the last three mornings in a row as well, and have procrastinated like mad over my seminar presentation, which I now have to give on Thursday and which I am re-titling to make it less scary: not a 'presentation', a 'pearl of wisdom'...
In that spirit, I will make a very short list for the rest of this evening (about one hour):
find arresting images to illustrate my points
consider structuring my seminar around just one or two case histories
get the up-to-date figures on funding etc that I need
write a list for tomorrow
put on a laundry tonight
Commit to checking in tomorrow morning AND checking out as well.
Hi everyone! Been in classes all day- just hanging out in the computer lab waiting for the bus to my car. Figured I'd make a list!
I did NOT get my paper done last night, but I did do more with it than the past 10 days. I am also excited I got everything else off my list. Rich text is weird btw, but I want the smileys everyone is using!
I did not do very well on my Optics midterm :( But the kinda good news is that almost 30% of the class did worse than I did.
Things to do this evening:
-Finish the damn paper
-Assignment 2 self assessment -Physics Lab #4
-Discuss summer plans
-Email Dr. Brown
-Email Greg -Email Nik W.
-Paper tasks
-Pick out quotes consalvo
-Read other secondary sources
-pick out quotes bainbridge
-Polish what is written now
-Add sources
-Work on 4th/5th body paragraphs
-Revise conclusions
-Final revision
Ok...I've already been up for over 9 hours but then ruined several hours by getting extremely distracted. I have tons of things on my to-do list(s), but I will focus on MITs. (hard for me to pick MITs)
I just remembered I didn't shower cuz in such a rush this morning.
So:
1. Put away groceries
2. Shower/hygiene stuff
3. Meeting
4. Wash Car
5. Wash Laundry
6. Make Supper
7. Clean up supper (wash dishes etc)
8. time with sweetie...maybe an hour? maybe half hour? not sure but i must restrict it
9. BRs like I've never BRed before
10. Brush teeth, floss, ready for bed
11. Thank Higher Power for another day in recovery!
May we experience lots of satisfying accomplishment, this season!
***Do for sure:***

1:30 appointment (incl balancer?)
do 15 minutes of Qi Gong
***Chosen positive efforts for good:***
:-) prioritize
lead-the-V requests (as needed)!
:-) check-in and bookending at P.A.
***I recommend these to myself:***

further load dishwasher, wash p+s
cook artichoke
balance checkbook and start new register
update P.A. calendar with changes M sent
make more progress on tax data entry
:-) research H-area hotel possibilities for Fri & Sat (no green hotels close by, thinking I'll commute from home rather than pay $80+ for 2 nights non-green lodging)
some microstep toward cleaner house (maybe clear off bathroom sink?)
draft FYI for group about isecurity.exe
do a microstep re figuring out list of Spring priorities and tentative schedule
***Worth a try for more joy in the future:***
send email to P? (journal first?)
tapping or journaling or Shiva Nata
get Express or similar
could clear-out goal be a fun game?

G'morning, dear friends! Putting yesterday behind me (thank God), I look forward to a new day to be procr-abstinent! not a single thing! But for bursting in the chatbox...
...I would have done nothing at all!
Ok, I did some more research about arts council funding. That was all really. I have to sort myself out!!!!!
As I said to someone earlier, if I'd done just half an hour's reading a day every day since my course began I'd be laughing now!!! Grrrrrr!!!!!!
