Journey 9:30 and updates

Dang I posted on Monday . ..first day back at work, guess I thought it was on Monday, anyway here it is with an update

Brrr why is it so cold in Georgia!?   First day back at work after 11 days off!   Longest vacation I've had in years.   At least I'm working from home today but I did go to the gym in the freezing cold.   Me no gusta!

I did keep up with my email while I was off, so I didn't have much email to go through.   I've checked email and calendar, and now I'll make my todo list for the day.   I'm kind of at a loss because I finished up a couple of projects in December, and I am not sure what I need to do on my one new project.   There is one project I need to start, and one I need to pick back up after having to drop it last July for a higher priority project.

So, first thing I need to do is check with the Brilliant Intimidating Coworker and ask her if anything happened on the new project (RH) while I was out and ask her what she thinks we need to do next.   I am sure she will have some "suggestions" lol.

I had submitted my version of my goals for next year to my team lead before I left, so I can review that document and think about what I need to work on first.   I'm sure he'll revise my priorities and probably assign me some new work, but I can get started on what I have now anyway.

OK, so here goes.   I will email the BIC about RH project, then get out my goals and figure out what I will work on in addition to RH, make my todo list, and report back.

Update 11:30 todo list done, and discussed RH with the BIC who was quite willing to give me some direction.    Next I will review my work goals for the year and figure out what are the priorities for this month until I get my 'official' goals.

Update 2pm - goals done, now I will work on RH project for a couple of hours.
