It's 16:20h and I've finally got some admin time (had a great morning visitng a school out in the countryside though). I'm away a ta meeitng all day tomorrow, so ii need to get some order into the next 45 minutes!
Horrible day yesterday. A computer program wasn't working and I spent several hours trying to fix it by removing software, reinstalling it downloading another version and then installing that. Nothing worked!
I phoned my tech guy and ccame up with a band-aid solution that I'm going to try that won't cost me anything. (I figured I needed to buy new software at $230 and perhaps pay for $100 to $150 in tech support.) So hope this works!
Needless to say, the only thing I accomplished was cleaning my desk (found some things I was looking for) while waiting for the software to load. (Cleaning my desk is one of my many tasks for the weekend!)
To do today:
- Print resumes
- Go to job fair
- If time permits, go to department stores to drop off resume after job fair
- Call headhunter
- Evening:
- run
- apply for 3 jobs (WG, Cfound, unknown)
- spend 1 hour on LI research (put on hold until Fri. if newslette comes back for review)
Did some "backlog clean up" in garage took 3 hours with 2 people, I could never have done it alone (more emotional reasons than physical) , cOntinue for today, I don't 'WANT TO" thank goodness I am humble enough to use tool that helps, 2nd person. thanks for being here.
Back in the office today. I worked late last night and got most of the stuff done for this weekend's install. Today I need to prepare the backout and followup jobs, and review review review! This should be the last super-intense week of Big Project. We'll have one more production install, but if this weekend goes well, then that one should be fine too (famous last words!).
I'm taking a day off on Tuesday so I just need to hang in there until then . ..

Wish me luck!
