Getting back on track

After 2 very productive days (well, for me, at least), I hit a wall yesterday. I was stressed, my stomach was upset, I kept dodging the plan, and wound up tired but not getting a lot done. The only somewhat calming thing I did was postpone my trip to Monday. Now I have an extra day, but I need a couple of good productive days. My stomach is still upset, likely due to nerves. I am at work, at my desk, and about ready to begin. I am really wanting to surf a little online to distract myself and calm down a little, but i am resisting the urge. I need to stay focused.

Goal 1: No internet until I get home tonight except for this, of course, and my online alarm clock. Just *none*. A little becomes a lot very quickly and time just disappears.

Goal 2: 14 "touches" on cases, no more than 30 mins per case.

That's all for today. Back to report.

Show up (done)

Thank you Lennon on the starter and ditto with your gratitudes.

Grateful for PA and ability to check in 24/7. Have been various other methods/tools to deal with this issue. Progress not perfection. I have not found any magic answers, but "showing up" is still key to my recovery.I have been "showing up" now for over 2 years without "shutting down" because of PA and this site. It is not a measure of my "productivity" but my "intention" and "availibility" which does show up in my "Average productivity" So my "Average Yeary Productivity" has increased each year and I feel optomistic that it wil continue with the help of PA and my "showing up"

My prayers are with everyone here to find things that can work for the. NEVER GIVE UP!

kromer 9:30 CI

I have about 3 hrs in lab this morning and I've been wasting time, which is particularly bad when my time is so limited.

What i need to do today is:
*Check, cf
*Reschedule comcast apt.
*Fix WM
*Finish expt corrections, do a little cleaning in lab.

Scribbler's Saturday CI 8:19 a.m.

A fairly relaxed Saturday beckons. I have a soccer game to attend this afternoon involving nearly two hours of driving each way. Also should cut the grass, but probably won't. A couple of work-related jobs to to do that I may get around to, or not. Otherwise, just hanging out with the kids. I have (literally) a few dollars in the bank, am current on all bills, and have assignments coming in fairly steadily, and payments expected from reliable customers. Will it last? Perhaps not, but the fact that it's okay right now, today, is worth something. I am pretty sure the picture would be a lot bleaker without the help I've gotten from the daily check-in thread at Procrastinators Anonymous.

Thanks to everybody who reads and posts here. Some of you have come, struggled and disappeared to somehwere. Others have stuck it out with me and are prospering, at least to some degree. I appreciate each and every one of you, and wish you all well.
