Weekend Projects

Scribbler's TGIF CI 10:53 a.m.

I guess I'm doing okay. I've been pretty distracted from paying work lately by music business, various meetings and the like. As a result my billings are suffering. Also I have yet another large client refusing to pay. This one's in France. I'm not sure what to do about that. Probably nothing except eat the loss and move on. Still, I have all September bills paid and a few hundredsdollars in the bank. And the music side has been going well, with lots of new bookings. And my major debtor is at least making actual offers to pay a portion of the money owed. Nothing acceptable yet, but it's a start. So although I have dark forebodings about the future, all related to my ability to pay the bills, generally, at this precise moment, I'd say all is well.

I'm pretty sure things are better than they would have been if I had not started posting to this check-in thread more than a year ago. Thanks to all for reading and posting. You are important  to me, and I hope you are doing well.
