Mission accomplished, yessir! Midway through the day I realized I had packed too much into my schedule, but instead of giving in I switched to the strategy described in this article: http://procrastinators-anonymous.org/node/14
I basically reduced the amount of time I worked on each task, even if it meant, I couldn't finish all of them. It definitely feels way better now, than had I just surrendered to the failure of not doing what I set out to do.
attend 9:00 meeting prioritize and set up pie chart to track work time vs. goal(good enough) update tracking spreadsheets and create one more(good enough for now)
add What's New summary text address an open rct (and repeat) check in any changes I made
file timecard draft and send weekly status update
investigate whether additional follow-up is needed re Windows testing
experiment further with SWB instance
create mindmap of high-level S/CC doc concerns
schedule D/D/M meeting for middle of next week
eat shower, etc.
use Balancer
do at least 15min. Qi Gong attend dance class
after dance class, limit listening to music and choose sleep over
reading--REMINDER: 8AM FRI HEALTH APPOINTMENT!
additional useful possibilities:
unload dishwasher
make a drainer's worth of kitchen progress
OK, I'm really late today. But I can still do good work. (And I started some stuff at home...reading, poster outline, meeting potential new roommate).

Show up (done) feeling grateful for PA and being able to ck in again. Got some procratination items I listed yesterday done. Consisten with the basics.Today, calls, do son's lessons this morning. my calss tonite- get there on time.
HALT don;t get too hungry, too angry, too lonely, too tired
Thanks for letting me vent, moan, and complain the last couple of days. I did leave early yesterday and I was in bed asleep before 8 pm. I slept like a rock for 10 hours and I feel quite refreshed today. Today I need to finish up two last items on the big project install, follow up on a couple of open issues discovered in preliminary testing, and start on the truckload of paperwork required to put it into the test systems and then into production. If I have time today, it is time to review my project list and see what I need to do to catch up on other projects that I have been ignoring during the big push for the big project.
