Feeling willing to work today, which is so so good. Only negative is that there is so much to do, and so much that feels urgent, that I'm a bit overwhelmed. So my plan is to take a deep breath, look at my list, identify the stuff that really has to happen today and do that. Then identify the stuff that it would be good to get done today so that Monday won't be so crazy, and do that.

Grateful to be here, and grateful to all of you.

Today I need to:
*Collect samples
*cm/cf
*Go to costco
*Call re: mini-parish (halfway done)
*Submit samples for histology
*Order a. and lect.

OK, that's plenty for the day! starting by figuring out how to get to costco, then I'll quickly collect samples

Scribbler's Friday CI 8:55 a.m.

The experiment went pretty well yesterday. I got all but one of the tasks on my Outlook list accomplished. So I'm going to continue it. I think one reason it went well is that I didn't put as many items on the list. Here at Procrastinators Anonymous, my task list is just a list. Items aren't assigned to specific time slots, so it's easier to put more than I can realistically accomplish on the list. With Outlook, every thing has a slot, so it's pretty clear when the day is getting too full. It's demotivating to me when I don't finish all or almost all my tasks. And it's easier to get disgusted around mid-day and piddle around with something pointless when I see a list of tasks that clearly can't be finished before the end of the day. Anyway, so far so good.

Thanks to all for reading and posting here. You have been a tremendous help to me.
