I didn't get here, yesterday. Today will be better.

As part of nourishing and rebuilding my personal integrity, I commit to:

  • Postponing any consumption of fiction until after 18:00 today
  • Checking personal email only as a reward for doing at least 30 minutes of job work (before 18:00) or zine work (after 18:00)
  • Doing photography only after 18:00 today or as a reward for doing at least 30 minutes of job work. For the latter, I will set an audible timer for 15 minutes.
  • Coloring only as a reward for doing at least 30 minutes of job work (before 18:00) or zine work (after 18:00). After coloring one item, I will do at least another 30 minutes of job or zine work before coloring again. (didn't color)

TODAY, I will:

reseal C & L passwords into an envelope marked for new motivation experiment
check and post at SR
post this at PA

check balance mindmap (did initial check)
check what is due today for job (did some)
make good-faith effort to deliver any job items due today (did some)

continue making progress on rough-drafting doc changes for review, using micro-steps as needed, such as: (some progress)

  • decide whether the item needs a new section--if so, create it
  • put "comment" notes in the appropriate section (in progress)
  • convert comment notes to draft text plus questions for reviewers (10 minutes at a time, as needed) (1x)
  • commit the file(s) (1x)
  • repeat the four micro-steps above, for other remaining item
  • start a manual build and inspect results (1x)
  • draft and send email to reviewers asking for prompt feedback

cook rice
shower
eat healthy food, including fresh fruit and some form of vegetables

start zine
do at least 15 minutes of Qi Gong exercises
use the Balancer (1x brief)

be in bed w/o lights or audio by midnight


I PREFER to accomplish at least some of the following, too:

load dishwasher (substantially)
make 20min of kitchen backlog progress
cook rhubarb

buy printer paper
think re &/or experiment w/ dance solo

My proactive to do list!

THanks for the word PROACTIVE...I was told once or twice the other day to be proactive...I think that menas doing things to help yourself before you get into a funk of sorts...Today, I am aware that I am afraid I will get into a funk of sorts becuase my daughter is leaving for college...I think I may have a hard time focusing on what I need to do...So, I wil start on my knees asking for my higher power's help and then I will be gentle with myself...just for today...so, what would a normal person need to do today???

To Do:

Wake up/Morning routine

Rest a bit

Living room, bathroom, bedroom, laundry

5 o'clock watch news and rest a bit

dinner

do something fun

ready or not, here I go!!

Lots of problems finishing the files - I need some letter which friend still has and I am finding it hard to think
