Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.
I made this list several hours ago, but thought I'd better not sit down at the computer until I'd done some parts of it...
Today, I will:
cook artichokes
shower
put $ in wallet
get fruits & vegies from farmer's market
post this at PA
check in at SR
check my balance mindmap (wip)
file 6 bugs (filed 1, closed 1 as not needing filing, may have bit off too much with this goal)
clear the kitchen sink or make 2 hrs of kitchen progress, whichever comes first
do 15 minutes of Qi Gong
use the Balancer
take bedtime Rx
To improve my integrity and optimize job and landlord relationships, I will postpone spoken word listening and my next audio purchase or podfic download until after I've filed at least 6 bugs. (wip: adhered to the letter, if not the spirit)
I will postpone visual reading of fiction (online or printed) until after I've filed all 12 remaining bugs and told my landlord about the slow water heater leak. (wip: adhered to the letter, if not the spirit)
I would like to accomplish some of these things, too:
pay & mail bills
do a load of dark laundry
take car to car wash(just a did short high-powered rinse, but that's an improvement)
do a Mood Log exercise or some other recovery-oriented activity
Before I leave I need to: *Update records, email MK
*Check on expts (will do this soon)
*Pack sample for shipping, leave note for W (working on this now)
*Email DdR, Mk about collab; review MG email and send to myself (working on this now)
*Print papers for plane (working on this now)
*Get book from friend
*Read 5 papers on plane
*Run geno. gel (almost done!)
A quick note of thanks to everyone here. You've all helped me over the last couple of years to get through my masters degree. This week, I finally finished the last requirement for my last class (ON TIME). I feel like it's hard for me to feel celebratory, because it did take 2 1/2 years, and was only a 1 year program, and because I failed what was supposed to be my final course in the spring and had to take this new course over the summer to make up for it. But, I'm glad finally to have made it through.
NOW I HAVE TO GET CRACKING ON FINDING A PLACE TO LIVE. My landlord wants to do a "walk-through" on my apartment, so I have to do a major clean up.
Things I already did:
Loaded dishwasher
Things I will do:
Make bed
Pick up all laundry off floor, spilling out of drawers, hampers and closet
Do loads of laundry
PACK any currently out of season clothes in plastic bins
PACK UP some Good Will stuff to get rid of
See how far into the day that gets me, and make a game plan for the rest of the apartment
The flower in the picture is an "Impatiens Walleriana", named "Showstopper Cherry Flair". I grew them from seeds I bought on ebay. It took a bit of patience to wait for them to spring out. Hopefully they will bloom for a long time.

Ok, time to do this.
Ok, time to do this. I've procrastinated far too long and almost haven't used this site since I joined it.
I plan to keep things pretty anonymous, but I will still try to keep track of the number of tasks I complete each day.
Now, in the next 15 minutes:
1) Create public google calendar to log number of tasks completed each day.
2) Log into remember the milk .
3) Finish configuring new firefox profile with RTM, procrastinators-anonymous and google calendar as default pages opening at startup.
All tasks completed. :)
Now to get some real tasks done...
My calendar is available here: https://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=prokrastemulo.gtd%40gmail.com&...
