Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.
Nice to see Sophie! I hope her business outside is concluded at a wisely appropriate time for all concerned. (Perhaps she's busy on errantry, a la Diane Duane's cat-wizards?)
Meanwhile, today, I will:
post this at PA
post at SR
check my balance mindmap (did a bit)
do at least 4.6 hours of job work, including the following tasks:
attend 10:00 meeting
order new laptop
file remaining bugs (made minor progress on this)
shower and wash my hair
cook rice and artichokes
call J
look for SR notes re moderate eating
make progress on kitchen wk (only a smidge)
do 15 minutes of Qi Gong
use the Balancer
I'd like to do these things, too:
pay & mail bills
do a Mood Log exercise or some other recovery-oriented activity
Didn't get nearly as far as I wanted today, and thats of course keeping me up today. But at least I achieved the goal of not watching TV two days in a row. And today when I went to the drugstore I actually went to another store and bought the catfood that would have been due on monday. Yay me.
OK, looks like I have an apt. for next year (finally). Yay! (visited this morning to confirm w/ real estate agent)
I didn't quite get everything done yesterday, so today is busy:
Have some scheduled stuff: Youth group, and lunch with friend
Then I need to:
*Finish geno (halfway through this)
*Collect
*Visualize
*Make solns (will do this soon)
*Start hybs
*amp *Ask to mail
*Prod about research issue
Having a stellar day! Got really positive feedback from my supervisor today... all the hard work paid off despite being stressed about procrastinating at some stages.... also had an awesome work out!
Done:
Up prayer and reflection
Checked emails and posts
Put on washing machine
Washed up from yesterday
Put trousers to soak ready for handwash
Todo:
x Exercise walk with GPS
x Check emails again and post if any
x Bath and wash hair
x Clean kitchen floor
x Unload washing machine and hang up washing
Fold sheets for return to shop and find receipts and emails
x Handwash trousers
Check medicines and some other stuff for going away and list any few bits I still need to get
Write letter to driver from whom I have not heard
Write journal
Regards Rexroth
ps I've had a good night's sleep and feel so much better this morning
Done x above and
Another load of washing and hung up
All washing up and rubbish out
A very long constructive chat over my trip and now feel better about it and better about life in general
Written a lot in journal
Prayed and reflected
Todo:
Check emails and some, not too much, time on web
A little more journal writing
A little more prayer and reflection
Bed and sleep
Sophie the Cat refused to come in last night. Early this morning she still could not be persuaded. When I have finished these few lines, I'll try again.
Next thing to do: Feed Sophie
Sophie was fed
I had coffee, breakfast, meds
Dishwasher unloaded
Dishwasher reload ongoing
Handwasched several plastic cups
Washing machine running
Bed is made
More handwashing
Folded and put away clothes
Put wet laundry to dry
Tidy up here and there (lots more to do, as always)
