Reflection

Yesterday: Now I just want to think about starting a business. That's all for tonight. 

Done, 

 

Today:

Flesh out a concrete business plan (concrete to what I am capable of)

<b>Buy some stuff at Walmart. That's it. </b>

 

I didn't actually need to buy anything so I held off on buying stuff. Overall, I'm not happy with the progress I made, but I did hold back on playing games and spent a good portion of the day doing market research. I've found that my old idea was infeasible. I may try a new one soon. Never in my life have I had the skills or the opportunity to accomplish so much. I don't want to waste it all procrastinating.

 

Tomorrow:

Presenting website at work. I haven't bothered preparing anything but I know how the site works and I know how to speak to people. It's going to be a small presentation.

After that I will probably browse the web, but I want to get to fleshing out how I will go with this business idea.

It is already 10.10 am Monday here in Australia.

I had a good weekend, all in all, but do not feel very rested. Tomorrow I have a job interview.

Today I will:

  • revise my lists
  • try to neither panic or avoid
  • work through what needs to be done
  • use the chat box if stuck

Thank you all for this site. Reading your posts I feel less isolated in my problems, even when I don't manage to post myself.

OK, feeling stuck today. I took yesterday off, which was a good decision, and took the first part of today off, which was a really bad decision but I'll learn from it and not do it again.

Today I need to:

*Email about audio stuff
*Call C to work out housing details
*Email L about housing
*Update MK records, c.f.
*Financial stuff (working on this now)
*Collect 2 control samps
*Brainstorm about pie chart stuff

Financial stuff is a MESS. I'm embarassed by how bad I've let it get. So, that's my focus for today:
*Enter receipts
*Credit card accounting
*Cash accounting
*Balance checkbook
*Pay est. taxes (late, eep)

show up and suit up (done).

Ther "virtual office" with the cla action phone meetings yesterday allowed me to work 7 straight hours at a exteremely slow pace, but without resentment or resistence because we were working togethter with top and bottom of the hour check ins. I was so grateful. Plan to use this tool more often, discovered I need 7-8 hours of slow productivity time vs waiting until I was in "high gear" to do the same work in 1-2 hours of high productivity time. I can rely on getting jobs done doing it with a slow productivity, without resentment or resistence  minimum, I cannot rely on getting the job done waiting for the high productivity motivation time.

I am now humble enough to lower my expectations to get jobs done in any way I can.

Rainy day. Taking it easy this morning. Need to do paperwork today. Want to do paperwork today. Have to do paperwork today. How can I do paperwork today?

Will try the Chatbox. Not feeling good 

  1. 10:40 AM: Logged into Chatbox. Had my breakfast and meds. Need more coffee
  2. 11:02 AM Easing into the day, slowly. Need still more coffee 
  3. 12:10 AMHad my shower, dressed comfortably, unloaded WM and put to dry, wiped surfaces, made my bed, feeling better 
  4. Emptied paper baskets/trash from various room and tok out
  5. Took picture of insect on curtain, will load down now
  6. Made more coffee. Next: Unload dryer, start another load of laundry
  7. Dryer unloaded. Started another load of laundry. Next: Fold clothes and put away
  8. 01:59 PM: Done all of the above plus a small sewing job. Now I will have a break
  9. 07:45 PM  Had a good break. Had a meal. Worked on papers! I  have made some progress. Letters ready to be posted tomorrow. Maybe I'll allow myself to have some fun now? Like some crafts work? TV? It is hot and humid and uncomfortable (by our standards)
  10. 10:26PM: All in all a good day. Plenty more to - tomorrow and days ahead. Enough for today.
