Celebrate Every Step Forward

fudoshin : checkin 6:37pm

Please do not leave advice.  Thank you.  Prayers welcome.

Okay, so just as an update, I have been on the dating site, but I want to spend finals week doing finals, and other stuff, so I am committing to not logging in to check my mail or browse people's profiles until 5/23/2011.  I am keeping my account deactivating during this time, in order to hinder curiosity, and stop myself from worrying about what's written there.   There's no reason why  knowing how people feel is more important than what I'm doing now.  I need A's on my finals in order to continue in school, and I'm going to do that.  I am also going to be avoiding facebook during this time. I deactivated my account for the umpteenth time today.  I am good at staying away, so long as I delete my account, I'll see how it goes, with leaving up an ad.  I also went to YouTube and removed my email subscription to things, so that I only log in on the weekends.  But yeah, I'm really good at not doing things for periods of time, let's see if I can DO things.  I mean, this is  a program of topline behavior.

Frustrated

Did pretty well yesterday. Made decent progress and stopped work at 8:15 PM. Hung around and worked on some personal things until 9:30 or so. Wasn't able to get myself to bed promptly, though. Stayed up until 2 AM watching a movie.

Feeling down and kind of frustrated today because I am back at work on a very nice warm afternoon. Most of the day is gone, and along with it my unrealistic plans for a super-productive weekend. I am dragging, and don't feel great. I definitely need to find a more balanced and restorative pattern. Goals for what remains of the weekend.

Goal 1: 3 hours of work, 15 minutes per case, with no internet "breaks"

Goal 2: Leave by 9:30 PM.

Goal 3: Will try not to get distracted at home and get to bed by 11 PM.

Back to report.

OK, I'm resisting getting starting today. Surfing, disorganization and poor sleep habits have b3een an increasingly big problem in the last few days.

That said, I've gotten two big things done over the weekend: sending off r.r. and also finding a  roommate for the fall.

For today, I seriously need to catch up on MK project (I have sample collection, and expts to check on, and PAS staining/photo, and records...)

I also need to write B. email (something I've been promising my adviser for a while) and do some cleaning and place orders.

Rexroth Check In

Did not check out yesterday nor in the morning as things have been a bit emotional and hectic

Done:
Up very late prayer and reflection too late to go to church
Checked and responded to emails and postings
Washed up and tidied up from yesterday
Finished research on cameras
Finished looking on what I had done in the last two week and what I had intended to do before leaving on holiday and decided to forgive myself
Looked at progress towards my big trip planned for later this year and posted on this site
Friend phoned and came round and various photographic and computer things sorted out
Again looked at todo list
Sorted out new trainers
Phoned friend and had a positive chat
Tidied up after friend's visit

Todo:
Plan week and in particular shopping tomorrow
Take it easy and watch recorded film on tigers

That's it for now

Rexroth Check Out

Done:
Above and watched another programme as well

Todo:
A little web surfing
Prayer and reflection
Bed and sleep

I am suprised at how much I have got done today compared with yesterday. Also I am progressing much faster in some things than others.
