Posted to Special Projects. But here is the to-do list I've settled on for today

before 12:30 get dressed, straighten up and lightly clean environment,

before 1 PM eat, set up workstation

no later than 1pm get source materials in order

--pull out list of blocks and prioritize and note on which pages they should appear

--pull out new directory info data

--install directory module and configure to accept data

at 1:30 begin to make manifest

--enter contacts into FM with best field names

--make one new directory with all contacts

begin writing for other content

--make 24 new blocks

at 3pm to 3:45 or 4pm (max) Take break, go outside or on roof, do a little food shopping

at 6pm be ready to go to dinner

Am I being too easy on myself?? I guess I'll see if I can even do this!

Gwen D 1:10 pm check in

I got the house clean! Lunch is gonna be right quick. Workstation up and running in much neater environment.

I set the timer as I went. Experienced getting through 15 minutes and setting it for another 6 minutes to really finish, then going a little longer still, but NOT time bingeing at all.

Next -- get all the data together and install directory module.

kromer 1:30 CI

Had a nice lazy morning, now I need to settle down and work.

I have a lot to do and it feels like I'll never catch up, but I just need to work steadily and I can at least get closer to caught up.

MITs:
*Analyze RT data, update lab NB
*Send bday card, email RH and CH
*Deacon stuff (have made some progress on this)
*Email M with info on expts

Other tasks: (if I finish my MITs, I'll work on whichever of these seems most appealing and/or will give me the greatest sense of accomplishment.)
*Find financial resources
*Clean bathroom
*Order RARb and Cyp primers
*Work on EA's task for 2 hrs
*Clean slides
*Email SS with info on clustering/correlation.
*Brainstorming

Whew! that's a lot, better get going! The RT task is relatively straightforward and is important to get done, so I'll work on that.

 Show up (done)

Thank you for the starter MA, so true for me.

I love rainbows, learned that from earth, we see an arc or half the rainbow, but from above, looking down, one can see the full circle rainbow. First time I learned that, I could not help thinking, so like God, first he gives us the rainbow sign, then he lets us know even though we see half , he sees the whole.  I need to trust there is a bigger picture.

Angie's check in

Ok this is the first time i use the check in but i hope im doing it right..So basically the only thing im really supposed to do today is:

thesis chapter 2 (it's mostly revision and some rewriting..at least 10-15 pages would be okay for me...)

Hi Angie

The only "right" is to find what works for "you" and like the starter says, here, you can always start again. Keep coming back.

hi angie!

Good to see you! Glad to have you join us :)

People use the check-in thread in all sorts of different ways so you are definitely "doing it right" :)

Best of luck with the thesis chapter 2! Feel free to break it down into smaller steps, let us know how it goes, and/or work through it in the chatbox, if any of those things help you.
