Do you know where/what your  "reset" button is?

Few situations -- no matter how greatly they appear to demand it -- can be bettered by us going beserk.  Today, I will believe that all is well. I am being led, but I shall only be led one day at a time. I will focus my energy on living this day to the best of my ability. If panic arises, I will stop all activity and deal with panic as a separate issue. Language of Letting Go. by Melody Beattie

Journey 4pm

Oops I accidentally hit the  "power off" button }) Just kidding, it's been a pretty good day so far but I've been goofing off for the last hour so posting to get myself back on track.

So far I've taken a nice walk, made a grocery list and meal plan for the week, visited mom, went to Petsmart, went to the grocery store, put away the cold things . . .and then sat down and didn't get back up.  I need to:

  • Put chili on - 30 minutes
  • Straighten the fridge and freezer - 30 minutes - started
  • Put away the rest of the groceries - 30 minutes
  • Organize the tupperware cabinet, currently my method of putting stuff away in there is to open the door, throw stuff in, and close the door real quick so it doesnt' fall out again! - 1 hour- yeah, I'm not doing this tonight.
  • Make slaw and hot dogs - 30 minutes - started
  • Eat dinner- 30 minutes
  • Dishes- 1 hour
  • Free time - 1 hour

Recovery does not come automatically for me, coming here is my first step of willingness, and as pathetic as that may be, it has really been a pivitol point in my recovery because it was something I could succeed at and I wanted to be with people who understood.
