e's recovery Saturday, June 5th 2010

Really took my will back yesterday: played all day on farmville, ate junk food, surfed the net. Don't know why this is the way I am acting, but I think I need to get to a meeting today-and soon! For today, pick myself up, dust myself up, pray for help in doing the next right thing. Thy will be done not mine.

make bed, take 1st med, bathe

OK, today is a fairly busy day.

Main task is to work on RNA-seq expt (trizol extraction, globinclear protocol, mRNA fragmentation and purification)

If possible, I would also like to do some or all of the following:
*Do genotyping
*Check on expt/set up
*2 emails
*Finish functional comparison/gene lists

For fun I'll go to BBQ, call a few friends and possibly go to dinner or dessert with friends.

OK, off to go do trizol extraction now.

Don't know where to start, have been time binging, but showing up here is always my 1st step in willingness (done)

Look at schedules on line;Go to post office; math, ck in later

Worked on clogged drain all morning, trickle open, so frustrating, did some pand, silverware, try anothor load, took shower, was so dirty, now math.

Drain is finally opened!! yes,!! at least all that work got something, still think it is not right, but until I get new dishwasher/plumber here again, I can function. did 2 loads in the dishwasher, one more to go.Don;t even know where the math is- it will turn up- need to walk before dark/rain.

Have a great weekend all

I need to hustle off and go to a swim meet. That ends about 1 p.m., after which I guess I'll try to do some work and perhaps some chores. I could invite my grilfriend over for dinner.

  • Get to swim meet by about 8
  • Add 25 names to custom pub list
  • Exercise
  • Fix sink
  • Call RB about dinner

That's not much but it's all I have time for now. Hope everybody has a great, productive and procrastination-free day. Scribbler

Later, I want to add this stuff:

  • Send graduates checks
  • Launder undies
  • Dropoff library book donation
  • Do CIO article
  • Invoice JH

So, looking a little busier.

Still later, I'm amazed that I finally fixed that sink. It's been on my to-do list forever. Only took maybe 15 minutes. Of course, I identified another problem that needs work while I was poking around under the sink, but it's a start. Now I think I'll go for a run. Later we'll see about that CIO article. So far, a decent Saturday.

Hope all are well and getting better. Scribbler
