JustForToday  Take a moment and ask yourself, “Is this how I want to live?” If not, make some changes!Just for today, I’ll enjoy each moment to the fullest and try not to tackle my whole   life’s problems at once.

OCz returning home!

Hi everyone! I've been away of PA since I was on vacation with no internet access, which was quite disturbing since I'm used to be plugged in most of the time! but anyway, nice vacation, lots of thinking, and a very good rest!

I've had a slooooow morning, managed to get a few things done.

before going on vacation I purchased a nice agenda. I have one, and only one resolution for next year... to use my agenda everyday!

I've had this issue with my agendas previously... if you relate or have any ideas of how to overcome it, please share! actually, there are several issues:

  1. I have a terrible handwriting... and I love agendas... so I hate to write on them and make them ugly with my poor handwriting. I know it sounds silly, but it's true. One thing I've been working for the last couple of months is to improve my hadwritting and I've managed tomake itreadable... this migth help!
  2. I forget to look at it... and most of the times I forget also to write on it... Need to figure out how to do make this a habit.
  3. I am a bit paranoic about writing personal information in something I migth lose... but a friend of mine has just given me some tips to protect privacy, like not writing full names and even using aliasses and miswriting phones (like consistently adding 2 at the end of each number)

Thank you all for being here!

smile!

Welcome back OCz - I've just got home today too!

Journey 11:30

I'm on vacation too yay!  Although I will probably work a little bit this week as I didn't get much done last week due to being sick.

I've exercised, just getting back into the exercise routine this week and not making too many demands on myself in that area.  I also made my todo list, on paper today.

Next I'm going to clean up & get changed.

Rexroth update

I've done above except haven't started to read book or store email yet. I have started my journal again and I'm glad I've done so. Had a very long chat with friend and spent time sorting out what I intend to do next year.

kromer 9:50 CI

OK, I got up at 8:30 (not as early as I would like, but perfectly reasonable for a vacation), had breakfast with my family, did breakfast dishes.

Now, I'm going to spend a good chunk of my day having fun w/ my brothers (we're going to a museum, and are going to take a walk), but I also want to do some other stuff. I'm going to list small groups of tasks, so I don't get discouraged by not finishing. To start, I'm going to:
1)Have prayer time
2)Decide on friend's bday gift, order as much online as I can
3)Plan for WM doc.

Back when I'm done w/ prayertime

Update 10:40 Done w/ prayertime. Now, to decide on friend's bday gift.

Update 11:45 OK, decided on friend's bday gift and figured out where to get it. Now, another small list of tasks (I won't necessarily get through these before we head out to the museum, I can finish them after we get back).
4)Finish QC on arrays
5)Organize lab notebook
6)Make mailing list
7)Get list of cohesins

OK, so the next task is to finish QC on arrays. Working through this in the chatbox.

Update 6:20--museum took a long time, and now turns out I have a bunch of chores to do for my parents. So I'm going to set the table, empty the dishwasher, cook dinner, after dinner and spending time with my family I'll do a little work if I have time (want to at least finish QC on arrays and make mailing list)
