K, have to turn over what might be paranoia, because I can be sometimes, or it might be real. The company I work for has a person who can seriously look into someone's background. I'm wondering if they had that person say something awful about me, because I get calls for jobs and then I don't get called back for a 2nd interview. Maybe they are searching me and see this awful stuff that was written??
AS THE BEATLES WOULD SAY: TODAY'S MY BIRTHDAY, IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY TOO - YAY!! I'M OLD!!
♥"Together we could do, what we could not do alone.♥
Happy birthday Hope!! Love the threadstarter! *hugs back*
Hope everyone got you TWO sets of presents this year and not just one ;) (My best friend is in a similar position birthday-wise so I know what it's like...!)
Re the paranoia, ew, I know what that's like too. Can you talk to your company about it? (Might sound ridiculous, but I managed to talk to my boss about my paranoia about getting fired and he was really understanding and reassuring.) If not, just remember that getting called for a first interview and not a second is totally normal. It's just numbers - far more people get to round 1 than get to round 2. And everyone has to go through that a few times before getting a job. *huuuugs*
OMG, no one ever understands about the 2 present thing, feeling jipped, etc.!! This year I expected nothing and got much more than I expected!! (Took me 100 years to accomplish that!!)
Thanks for your relating re: paranoia - and your experience, strength and hope!! I'm trying to leave where I work, and I know they know, hence my paranoia (spelling?) Anyway, I guess it's good that I'm finally getting a first call, that wasn't happening for quite some time.
Sending smiles, hugs & waves!!

Hello all.
I have been having a good week.
Some challenges and drama, but mostly serene.

In particular, I want to:

*Organize lab nb
*Try to get ES/RAR data
OK, right now I'm going to see if the ES/RAR data is publically available, and download it if it is. Then, I'll microburst array QC.
Huggles...
Nice :)
