Hi. Already did yoga and small grocery shop first thing this morning. Yay me ! Been collecting my thoughts since then. Now is 2pm. So in what is left of Saturday I plan to do, either:
(( infinite list of steps leading to contentment/perfection/Nirvana/heavenly bliss ))
or:
1. google some burning questions relating to (a nutrition question, James Taylor's old band, a bicycle maintenance question, mechanics of passport application)
2. locate, bundle and deliver all relevant source documents to accountant's office so he can file last year's tax return for me before they send the military to my door.
3. IF and ONLY IF 2. got done. Potter about among the weeds in the garden or go on a bike ride through the woods.
I know item #2 belongs in the "long-term project" category, but today is the last, last, last, LAST day when it REALLY MUST BE DONE !!!!!
Item #1 is of course where time will be spent on task-avoidance, because I've forbidden myself to start #3 until #2 is done.
Good day so far except I've been sitting on my butt for the last hour goofing around on this computer. Time to cut that out and get back to work.
I've been to yoga, visited Mom, visited Dad, been to the bank and the grocery store. I put away all the cold stuff but then sat down for a break. Now to go finish putting away the groceries, clean out the fridge, straighten/dust/vacuum for the kids to come over tonight, and start dinner. DH usually does the floors but he's working today so I gotta do it all myself :( . Well, DD will help but the qualify of her assistance is not as fine as DH's lol.
2:00 Put away groceries and clean out fridge
3:00 Straighten, dust, sweep dining room
4:00 Straighten, dust, vacuum living room
5:00 Wash a few dishes that are in the sink and start dinner
6:00 Remember to close the bedroom door because I ain't cleanin' in here today!
Have dinner on the table at 6:30 - nothting elaborate, just burgers and dogs on the grill, corn, baked potatoes, dessert. DH WILL cook on the grill since he didn't help me clean the house haha.
Tomorrow I want to spend some time outside as it's really gorgeous weather down here and I don't have to work for a freakin' change. I need to do laundry incl. changing sheets tomorrow, put away a pile of stuff that has collected on my kitchen counter, straighten/dust/vacuum the bedroom, spend a couple hours outside, maybe go visit Dad again, catch up my work email, sort the pile which is growing again, and organize something - either work on my closet or my drawers. They are all a mess. I need Clinton and Stacy from What Not to Wear to come to my house, toss all my clethes, and buy me a new wardrobe!

I love the sparkling coffee cup!! Little things like that make my day...
Been doing my best to stay in the present and not worry so much about the future (panic) and past (regret). For me, it is about what can I do today to help myself at this moment.
I had a very "spiritual" kind of experience at my coaching yesterday. One of those big light bulb moments. Coach asked me what was on my mind... and so I listed all the things I hated about what I just did. He said that is exactly what he heard too. If I worry less about all my shortcomings, the audience will worry less too. Most important thing to focus on: What statement do I want to make? If I focus in on that and only that, everything else- all the little details- naturally fall into place.
To Do List:
Go for run
Practice 3 hours (practice points from yesterday's coaching on B & Pr)
Written exam prep (review and rewrite dis; practice reading cls)
Only have 1/2 before I need to leave home. I have so much to do today. Not sure what order I will do what in so I will just list all that needs to be done for now.
Livestock areana -- set up pen for show

This is just some of the items that need to be done this weekend. I will contine to add as more come to mind and mark of the items that are accomplished. I feel better having everthing listed yet I feel overwhelemd. Not enough hours in the weekend.
I really have not accomplished much today. I have been really lazy and unmotivated. I would say that I deserved to be lazy today howerver I did not really have the time to. I am a bit discouraged with myself, and truly I could accomplish a lot in the next 3 hours if I just had the motivation. This evening I am sitting with my grandmother and I have my step moms lap top with people pc connection. So I have been reading e-mail and I have so many things that I can accomplish I just am so unmotivated. Humm maybe I could try just 15 mins on something that I do not want to do and see where I can go from there. I have a few more items that I would like to do after I complete them I will spend the 15 on something that I do not wont to do.
Recycler, your starter makes me want to like coffee! But my large diet coke will have to do... praying today is golden for all of us - what a blessing to be able to start my day with such a special group of people... overcomers!
Word and prayer for the day again: Phil. 4:6-7 msg
Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
Soundtrack:“So I pray, Bring me joy, bring me peace, Bring the chance to be free, Bring me anything that brings You glory” mercy me, bring the rain

went to bed early which i think was a wiser choice than finishing list, had too much on it to finish
I am not in a good place with family stuff, especially with my 2 sons, and I am very tired today- got home after 9 pm yesterday, when I am tired, I get angry so easitly.
I've opened the condo windows this morning to get some "natural air conditioning" before the day gets too warm ;)
Before my bike ride this morning, I'm going to try to do several chores around the condo. I hope to update my CI several times during the day.
11:40am. Back from a number of activities.
This morning before I went out, I folded & put away some clean clothes, and also did some bathroom swishies.
The bike ride went well. Next time I will try to remember to ride on a couple other side streets to make the ride a full hour.
After changing clothes, I got the Goodwill things together, got the library items, and took the trash out. I bought provisions at the store and put gas in my car. On the way home, I dropped off the items at Goodwill, turned in my items at the library and got a couple more, and bought a quart can of paint at the paint store. After arriving at the condo, I put items in the refrigerator, fixed my lunch tray & ate in the courtyard. Next I'm going to rest for a few minutes and decide what to do next. I think bake something. I also have the paint I bought. The area I am going to paint is small, but the project will involve turning off the computer and moving things a little bit, so I want to make sure I have things ready before I start.
2:30pm. I baked the one dish, and am now thinking about cooking something else. I've got 3 hours before going out, so it could happen! ;)

Hi Pro Buddies!
I've opened the condo windows this morning to get some "natural air conditioning" before the day gets too warm ;)
Before my bike ride this morning, I'm going to try to do several chores around the condo. I hope to update my CI several times during the day.
11:40am. Back from a number of activities.

I also have the paint I bought. The area I am going to paint is small, but the project will involve turning off the computer and moving things a little bit, so I want to make sure I have things ready before I start.
2:30pm. I baked the one dish, and am now thinking about cooking something else. I've got 3 hours before going out, so it could happen! ;)
Have a great day, everyone! :)
