Online 12-step meeting of Procrastinators Anonymous

Sundays 7:30pm GMT (UTC) standard time year round.

I tried to get in the chat from the chatbox and I tried to check in but it says I need to be in to be in the chat.  I could not find the "meeting chatbox," but I found chatbox and then I pressed meeting or check-in and I was not able to share.  I don't know how to check in or get into the meeting.  I need help.

We have two chatboxes here at PA.

There is a "check-in" chatbox for talking yourself through doing tasks, and for brief check-ins with others.

That is the main default chatroom that you encounter when you enter chat.

There is also a separate chatbox for "meetings". That is where we hold our weekly 12-Step P.A. meetings.

The reason for having two separate rooms:

Just wanted to send out a friendly reminder on respecting anonymity.  Sometimes personal details might be shared in the context of a chatbox check-in and/or a meeting chat where only members who are signed on can have access and where information is kept for a short period of time (erased by new lines being typed).  Forum postings are permanent and can be viewed by anyone at any time (even people who are not members of PA)... 

thru our business meetings we are trying to fine-tune the format.

Replies here are to continue that work.

We should have two other meetings during the week at opposite times so that each half of the world can have the option of attending an evening meeting during the week.   What say you all to this?  I am on Pacific time, so an ideal time for me would be Tuesday 8pm Los Angeles time.

Whenever a 12-Step group is trying to decide how to proceed with group organizational procedures (such as the meeting format, or which meeting room to use, or how to organize expenses, etc.), the group usually does a meditation on the Twelve Traditions.  This can simply be some time spent in quiet reflection.

Whenever such topics come up, rather than endlessly debating ....  Instead I suggest that we all meditate on the 12 Traditions:

I'm back online, following up on the meeting topic - I doesn't appear that anything was confirmed as to a meeting schedule.  So I thought perhaps I should start a new thread at this point... (?)

I would caution anyone in chat to post generalities about one's life.  Even in a "chat meeting".
Because everything said in chatbox is recorded in a log that anyone registered at P.A. can read. (not just the people in chatroom at the time).

I think if we had a 12-Step meeting in chatroom, we could speak about 12-Step principles but I would advise against confessing personal failings, due to the chat logs.

Just my opinion.
