The Saturday PA 12step chatbox meeting has been cancelled due to lack of participation.  Someone was here every week to lead, but it was rare that anyone showed up.  After one full year, the decision was made to cancel it.

There will be no more meetings on Saturdays.

Thank you to those who attended, even if rarely.

Hello! We have been blessed to have an AWESOME anchor for the past 3.5 years in movingalong. But. . .she can't do it alone. And she is. . .moving along ;)

We decided in the PA business meeting that the same person doesn't have to anchor each week. Hence a sign up sheet. This is where to sign up if you would like to anchor. Just reply to the post for the week you want to anchor (and don't forget!!!).

The meetings start at 2:30 PM New York Time.

I tried to get in the chat from the chatbox and I tried to check in but it says I need to be in to be in the chat.  I could not find the "meeting chatbox," but I found chatbox and then I pressed meeting or check-in and I was not able to share.  I don't know how to check in or get into the meeting.  I need help.

Two chat rooms are created automatically when you enter the chatbox:

• check-in

By default, you start off in the check-in room, which is the second tab of the chatbox. The check-in room is for talking yourself through tasks, and for brief check-ins with others. The main check-in room can be used 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Hi All,

Just wanted to send out a friendly reminder on respecting anonymity.  Sometimes personal details might be shared in the context of a chatbox check-in and/or a meeting chat where only members who are signed on can have access and where information is kept for a short period of time (erased by new lines being typed).  Forum postings are permanent and can be viewed by anyone at any time (even people who are not members of PA)...

We should have two other meetings during the week at opposite times so that each half of the world can have the option of attending an evening meeting during the week.   What say you all to this?  I am on Pacific time, so an ideal time for me would be Tuesday 8pm Los Angeles time.
