Welcome to Friday.

Not a happy Friday here. Got into a fight with my wife this morning--well, we continued the fight we had last night.

Since it's inter-session (between terms) the library computer room is closed, so I have to go to my office. :-(

Anyway, I need to help my wife get out of the funk she's in, which is part of the reason for the fighting. The underlying reason is that her job is hugely stressful, AND we're trying to sell a home. Tons of work.

To do:

* go on travel website, check out airline tickets
* email (still here at library)
* go to office, re-plan

Sorry to read you're having a rough day.

Seems like stressful or resentful feelings can really feed the ol' procrastination bug. Then when the opportunity comes to procrastinate "at" someone, hold on. I've been a recovering alcoholic for close to ten years, and we often talk about "drinking at" someone. Now I'm not a religous person, but whenever I have a stressful situation with another person I've been told to pray for them, also asking how you may help them. Gee, you don't even have to believe in God to do that. One of my best friends in AA is an avowed atheist, but he still prays "about" people. But, in any event, I hope you take a little time to regroup, and things get better soon. Take care.

A few days ago Rexroth and I were talked about sorting out PRIORITES, and upon awakening this morning I decided that would be a good thing to begin today. If anyone has suggestions, please post them.
Today:
(X)morning routine
additional meditation (not just the amount included above)
(X)find stopping place for project A (since others need to do their parts for a while)
(X)start the next project (B) as I've procrastinated WAY too long
