Friday 21st December 2012

Time, when it is left to itself and no definite demands are made on it, cannot be trusted to move at any recognisable pace. Usually it loiters; but just when one has come to count on its slowness, it may break into a wild, irrational gallop.

clement ci - day 46 attempting abstinence

It's been ... not sure since i last went off plan. As movingalong would say i'm counting days imperfectly. And that's ok. It's much better than not counting at all. I have been doing important tasks, not distracted, but i have NOT been planning. so i'm living on the energy left over from my planning habit. but that will quickly fade. It's like eating or bathing or medicine or quiet time You're ok taking 1 day off. But better get back to the nourishment soon.

:) church jesus said "i cam to seek and to save the lost." He came to seek and save me. Not just to save me, but to seek me. Even when i am lost and dont know what to do or where to turn, Jesus seeks me. I certainly have experienced that many times in the last year. thank you jesus!

"Our lifelong problem wasn’t time scarcity; it was lack of spiritual connection. We had tried to manage time, an impossible task. Clock time is incomplete and divine time is beyond our comprehension. By using rest, availability, receptivity, emergence, and recognition, we cooperate with spiritual timing. We let the Master Artist sculpt us anew with each divine appointment. Our Higher Power is now our time manager."

journal
meditate 15 mins.
shower/dress

Complete 1 cycle of 15 minutes each of:
-- dishes
-- clean
-- back exercise/practice

If there’s time after I complete what’s listed above, I will select 2 activities and cycle them in 15 minute bursts.

3 things I did well today:
1) So far I've been a little more strict with myself... when my timer goes off, I am IMMEDIATELY stopping or starting.  For the past few days I've let the line blur, and that hasn't been good.
2)
3)

3 things I can improve on:
1)

3)

3 things I’m grateful for:
1) My BF
2) The fact that winter vacation is SOOO CLOSEEEEE
3) Garlic.

two threads on two days a tuesdays and thursdays tradition?

Funnily enough I nearly posted a check-in on Tuesday on Mole's thread, then saw Chickadee's one, then brain exploded and I didn't check in at all...

___________________________________________________________________________
It's an inside job...

Thanks, Mole, and Happy Friday!

Love the enthusiasm of this group  .... that
two of us started simultaneous Tuesday threads this week;
And another two of us started simultaneous Thursday threads this week!

We must've wanted 48-hour days this week!

Mole, Thanks for starting this thread, and then adapting it for Friday.

The quote about time is very ... "timely".

Blessings to you and to all reading!
