Avoid Perfectionism: Procrastinators have a tendency to spend more time on a task than it warrants, so tasks that should be quick to do take an agonizingly long time. Notice this tendency and stop yourself. Some things require completion, not perfection.

It's 9:40 PM. If only I would work during the "work day." While writing my goal list, I added things I accomplished earlier today in order to boost my spirits a bit.

Goals:
1) Contact V NC; make appointment
2) Contact V sinus; make appointment
3) Put upcoming meetings on my calendar in Outlook
4) Go to N meetup group
5) Finish testing CQ I'm dragging my feet on DONE
6) Test another CQ Found problem; defect might not be fixed yet...

EOD comments: It's 2:22 AM, and I feel better now than in a long time. I tried out the chatbox for the first time tonight, and it REALLY made a difference. I am very pleased. 

Accomplishments for today

After a lot of over thinking, and debating things, I just got off my ass and did it. A little late for my chreck in, but this Is what I did get done between yesterday and today.

 

1. Made phone calls to check financials

2. Started repaying some old debt

3. Started researching some things online

4. Went to work

5. Withdrew money to send a famy member

6. Purchased necessity items.

tomorrow is an early, and long day. I have to feta full 7 hours of sleep

Journey 7:30

Happy Wednesday.   Yesterday was a real struggle but I got some work done.   I'm having sinus/allergy/headaches this week so I'm not feeling my best and and my son/d-i-l are fighting so the family situation is kinda tense.   But I'm getting a good start this morning.   I am working from home today.   Right now I am going to exercise, have a healthy breakfast, and make my todo list for the day.    I have a couple of meetings today, one of which will be difficult, one easy.   I have some things I can do on Major Project today, and I have reactivated a lower priority project that I have some time to work on now.  I was at a loss yesterday because Major Project was at a standstill and I wasn't sure where my lower priority projects stood.   But I did manage to review those projects and work out the next action for them, so today should be much easier.

keeping it very simple today

yesterday i acted impulsively and now am scared to look at my bank account amongst other things, i drank too much and feel a bit edgy, i also feel i could behave impulsively again today, i think i've identified that essentially i'm just lonely on these winter nights so i went to the pub and although i did have fun i still felt lonely or out of place there

today i'm toying with the thought of going out again, that's probably because i don't wnat to deal with real life and the financial mess and aimless mess i'm in.

so today

have a bath

try to settle down, drinking alcohol has made me gittery

anything else i manage to do will be a bonus

I am a bit worried, but it is well within my cababilities. It's been a bit complicated by the fact that my mum has requested an earlier visit today because the doctor is coming so my day will be fragmented, but I can and will get some useful things done. Whilst avoiding perfectionism (thanks Lennon)

God please help me to be loving to all i meet today.

9:55am : Oh Lord Jesus thank you so so much. I have about 100 tasks i'm juggling and i was able to boil them down to the 10 i have to work on next. Thank you so much that i have a to-do program and scheme for using it that enables me to do this. Thank you so much that i didnt get overwhelmed. Cuz that was so likely to happen. Thank you that I did find clear priorities. Lord i dedicate all these tasks and my day to you. Your name be Praised. Amen.
