Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.

all caught up on tax returns

When I founded Procrastinators Anonymous and this Web site, I was years behind in my tax returns (5 years behind, by the time I caught up). I am now 100% current, and have been filing my quarterly and annual returns on time for the last two years. Smile

Impressed

That's really impressive, pro! And extremely encouraging. There's hope for us all! :)

Amazing

This is amazing. One day, when you have time, I'd love to read how you got from being 5 years behind to where you are now. How did you find your way to recovery?

how I got all caught up

Hi roab,

One way is my "magic bullet", which I described in this article:

How to Get Started - A Magic Bullet That Works (Really!)

I have since realized that this is a variation of "create a place to work that is ONLY for work". That's just another magic bullet - another strong work association.

The other element that was extremely helpful for me was the PA Chatbox. I was there constantly. The encouragement there - the check-ins and the bursts - really helped me to get started and keep going. If you don't know what I mean by "bursts", they are described in the "magic bullet" article.

How long did it take

How long did it take you to get from your starting state, to the state you're in now? Was it gradual, or happened at once?
