Yet another born on planet procrastination nation.

Hello,

I am another person born on planet procastination.  I have ADD so I get distracted easily.  I'm getting down to the extreme wire on getting my grad school applications in.  I have so much to do and it just keeps happening.

My biggest trap is procrastinating getting started for the day until the last possible minute.  Once I get started, I'm usually good to go, but in the morning I often end up finding distractions and so I am often not even dressed until afternoon, even though most weekdays I'm up decently early.

I'm the type that if I have a regular schedule that is at least partially externally generated,  I'm okay.  But its having a lot of internally motivated stuff, and then starting seems so freaking hard!

Oh, also, just so no one gets the wrong idea about my screenname, I have a wonderful cat named Highway, and my boyfriend and family and I joke all the time that "I am Highway's happy, mindless slave"

Hi Highway!

Glad to know I'm not the only one who is slave to their cat. I think I finally understand why the Egyptians revered them so. The cats asked them to!

Welcome to this forum. What you've described is very familiar to me too.

See you around!

Thanks both of you!  I

Thanks both of you!  I hope to see you more on here.

The Egyptians knew what they were talking about.  Sometimes I wonder if when we get to heaven we will discover that God is a great big cat.  :)  Certainly C.S. Lewis seemed to think it was a decent possibility.   ;-)

Welcome HighwaysSlave!
