Finding a way check in

Thanks again for starting the thread. lennon.
Sticking with showing up here Mon - Thurs.
Late today. Noticing I am in a happy mood because I got some things done yesterday, but this is not helping me get moving on today's tasks. Sigh !
Back to my lists and the chat box.

A quick, drive-by check-in today. I did pretty well yesterday using Outlook to organize my day and check off completed tasks. Today I have more progress to make on various projects. Hopefully, I will gain some ground.
I hope everybody is having a good, productive, do-it-now kind of day and enjoying it as well. Thanks for helping me out. I'ts meant a lot.
Plus-minus but feel okay
Had so-so results with my ambitious plan for yesterday, but still feel it went pretty well, with problems in the usual areas. Was shooting for 14 x 30 minute blocks of work, but only achieved 11. Yesterday morning was less productive than I had hoped. Too many interruptions and it was hard for me to stay focused. Need to work on that. Did not do the admin blocks I needed to, and failed with the plan to leave early and get to bed early. Those remain major weaknesses for me.
But today is another day. I started to feel anxious again today, but reminded myself that I need to stay in the here and now, and keep executing this plan, which I think works when I let it.
Today's plan is very similar to yesterday's:
Goal 1: 30 minute (max) blocks x 6, including two admin blocks I did not complete yesterday.
Goal 2: 30 minute lunch
Goal 3: 30 minute (max) blocks x 8 - did not schedule a formal break; minutes get added here and there transitioning from one thing to another, getting a cup of coffee, etc., which has the desired effect of getting me away from my desk and moving around. Scheduling a break means I will probably use it online, which I am trying to avoid.
Goal 6: 30 minute dinner
Goal 7: 30 minute (max) blocks x 2 for *really* overdue stuff - I have to chip away at these or they will never get finished. I may consider moving these to morning when I am fresher if doing them in the evening is just too steep a climb.
Goal 8: Leave at 8 PM
Goal 9: To bed at 10 PM (non-work reading OK)
Goal 10: Lights out by 11:30 PM
Alright, off to the races. Back to report.

Journey drive by checkin
Hey y'all, I've been so swamped with this huge project deadline that I've had no time to procrastinate - also I'm working closely with a couple of teammates so that keeps me honest and also keeps me from checking in. But I read your posts when I get a chance and I'll be back as soon as this big push is over. That will be prime procrastination danger time lol.
In the meantime, I hope you have productive and enjoyable days .
