Welcome to the end of the working week

Time for an effort to finish up for the weekend

Didn't make it here, yesterday, but had a reasonably productive day. And now I'm back.

TODAY, I will:

  • check SR
  • post this at PA
  • check balance mindmap (wip)

  • attend 10:00 meeting
  • follow up re wiki additions from 1:1
  • pursue answers to SVN Qs from 1:1 (wip)
  • pursue answers to laptop Qs from 1:1

  • take required course (wip: modules 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7)
  • check what else is due for work, today; do

  • shower & wash my hair
  • unload/load dishwasher (significant progress)
  • wash pan, cook soup (and maybe listen to Tuchman?)

  • do 15min of Qi Gong
  • use the Balancer (did just a bit)
  •  take bedtime Rx

I prefer to accomplish these, too:

  • eat oatmeal
  • make progress with spec reading
  • set up SVN directory for new version

  • start rough-drafting changes
  • think about weekend priorities
  • see if C of C replay is available

  • do a warm load of laundry
  • pay & mail bill
  • cook rhubarb

  • think re &/or experiment w/ dance solo
  • put mandala graphic on cell phone
  •  balance checkbook
  • bed w/ lights, sound off by 11:00

Must finish BW project TODAY!

Biggest procrastination problem right now is exercise - I know I should, I feel better when I do but I just can't WON'T do it.  I recognize it is my choice, my free will - what is the matter with me!

MUST DO > Go for a walk at lunch.

Hi, TJ,

I've found that I exercise more regularly if:

a) I choose kinds of exercise that I actually enjoy doing (dance and Qi Gong, for me)

b) I sign up for and attend weekly classes in those kinds of exercise

c) I set myself a SMALL daily exercise goal inbetween class days. Currently, I try to do about 15 minutes of Qi Gong exercises every day--that's something I can do at home without special preparation, even if it's already bedtime.

I will keep trying - the SMALL daily exercise goal is probably my best bet at this point.  I did not go for a walk at lunch - day got eaten up by out of my control issues - i.e., the boss and missing staff still.

Took 2 hrs this morning to sign my lease.

Today is a busy day. I have a lunch mtg 12-1 and another mtg 5-5:30. After that I need to work 5:30-10 at church youth group. So, that's plenty of scheduled stuff.

In the un-scheduled time I need to:
*Collect sample
*check on expts, cf (will do this soon)
*start making solutions
*Make schedule for next week (will do this soon)
*Finish data check
*Email KA

OK, working on solns for 50 min, then lunch mtg. 

My Day Today

I want to thank my Higher Power for this program, this website, the telephone and online meetings, and my life.

1. Went to the 8:30 a.m. telephone CLA meeting

2. Went to the 9:45 a.m. telephone CLA meeting

Things I will do today

1. Prayer and meditation morning and evening

2. Eat brunch

3. Take shower

4. Get dressed

5. Send out Al-Anon literature for today

6. Go to the 12 noon telephone ACA meeting

7. Go to the 1 p.m. telephone CLA meeting

8. Make bed

9. Wash dishes

10. Cook and eat dinner

11. Do numbers

12. Go to work at 5:30 p.m.

13. Go to the 10 p.m. telephone DA meeting
