Looking for procrastinators....

....and I guess I came to the right place.

I am researcher in the Psychology Department at the University of Windsor and I am looking for people, and especially procrastinators, to participate in an online study. This online research study focuses on how personality, stress, and time influences how and when you get things done, and how this may affect your health. For this research to be valid it is important to include the opinions and responses of true procrastinators, which is why I am posting this to your group.

The survey takes about 30-45 minutes to complete and all information will remain anonymous and confidential. I will also provide a brief report with the study results for anyone interested when the study is over.

As an incentive for participating I am offering a gift certificate/card from a major online book seller to every person who participates. The amount of this gift card will be $15 Canadian, $10 USD, or £8, depending on the your country of residence.

I invite you to read more about this research at the study website: www.uwindsor.ca/GTDstudy

You can decide then if this is something you would like to participate in.

Thank you for your time,

Fuschia Sirois

Can't access it either

Is the study over? I was able to access the page a few days ago but not any more.

I have to admit

I cracked myself up a little about this study. It's kind of hilarious, really. You see, I wanted to do it. First, I went and looked, then I bookmarked it. I intended to get in there and give my two cents, but because it was going to take 30-45 minutes, I thought I'd try to be responsible to my other work first. Plus, I'm not supposed to be doing things for more than 15 minutes at a time! Now, five days later, my chance is over!!! I think we should write Francine Serious and tell her that she lost a lot of study subjects because she gave up on us too soon. We're procrastinators!!! Oh well.

Procrastination Study

Did anyone contact her - I didn't? I must admit I've even procrastinated about posting here, because I couldn't be bothered to sign in. How bad is that?

I tried to go to the site,

but it wouldn't come up. Is there a back door?

I went to the website....

Read about the research, and started doing the survey. I got quite a way through it and got chucked out by my computer - haven't gone back again yet (I think I'm procrastinating because I think it might make me do the whole thing again).

Well I'll try it and report

Well I'll try it and report to you if I have any luck! I'd actually do it even without the gift card, afterall he's trying to help people like us :)

Trying to help

I know, I was just reading through the stuff to make sure it wasn't a scam. It looks legit - it reads like a proper research propsal anyway (ethical approval etc).
