Progress!

A GREAT week.  I had a technical proposal which had to be done by midnight Friday which was very important to me.  But I have a lot of other things going on.  In the past I would have phoned at the last minute and asked for an extra day, or at best gone on changing the note back and forth till 11:30 PM.

However!

I wrote a complete draft early Friday, then intentionally left it so I could reread it fresh.  Reread it and sent it at 4 PM.  To most people that is normal.  To us this is WOW!

The happiest weekend in years and went hiking all day Sunday in the hills above Santa Barbara.

Hard to believe but I have been vititing this forum regularly since June.  I have been in AA for 18 years so I arrived with a good attitude.  But this forum has really helped me.  Thank you Pro for starting it: thank you everyone for being here and sharing.
