Help for Procrastination about Writing

My biggest area of procrastination throughout my life has involved writing. I just discovered a website that is helping me tremendously: http://750words.com. It is based on the idea of "morning pages" from Julia Cameron's The Artist's Way -- a three-page stream-of-consciousness writing when you first get up. 750 words is about three pages. So you can do your morning pages on the website (at any time of day) and then earn "badges" for mounting up days of writing streaks. I joined 10 days ago. I've written every day since, and have even started getting up a half hour earlier in the morning (so now I get up at 5am) to do my 750 words. Today I got my flamingo badge for a 10-day streak. I find it incredibly motivating, as silly as that seems. After the first several days of essentially journal writing, someone suggested using it for my work-related writing as well. So I set up a separate account for that and have a four-day streak going. I hope it can help other folks here, too.
