Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.
Couldn't post before, but got the website published and the domain names pointed to the servers around 8:20pm. So -- mission accomplished.
Got one (ugly) website finished, with IX webhosting,
But then, I got a new free one started with GoDaddy, under one of my other domain names. They want my hosting business.) So far, GoDaddy's software seems easier and more intuitive. May have to switch. Both companies have good tech support.
Gratitude for all the people in the chatbox while I was working and for comments here. Also to Vic for helping start my day on a positive encouraging note.
1. Check in / show up - done
2. check calendar for weds/thurs/fri/sat/sun - done
3. plan to plan - done
4. gratitude - 1 min
5. exercise - plan for that (even if only for 5 min)
6. practice asking my higher power to take over one thing that I used to think was too petty to even involve HP because I "should" be able to do it. For example, asked HP to help me get to an appointment on time on Monday at a friend's excellent suggestion. It helped to turn it over. Today I will ask HP to help me get a bill out today.
Have a great day everyone and thanks so much for your checking in since it is inspiring and helpful to me. Tracy-la
Quotes for day (to be implanted/rewired into my brain and self-talk):
You can explore the universe looking for somebody who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and you will not find that person anywhere.-Buddhist Quote
MITs:
*P-C extraction
*Finish scanning and write up; run motif comparison (working on this now)
*Order ES cells and talk to M
*Start looking into antibodies (will do this soon)
*Prayer time
*Call C
Other tasks:
*numbers, plan for learning to stage
*cooking
*start WM jobs
A lot of these tasks have turned out to be a lot harder than I had anticipated. So, I'm feeling really stuck. I'll try breaking down a few tasks into baby steps that I know I can get done.
*Write up scanning restuls
*Get list of possible commercial antibodies
*Read up on Southern strategy
wasn't very productive yesterday, though I didn't engage in traditional P behaviors like web surfing. So that's progress. I shuffled papers alot though which is an indication that I'm having trouble prioritizing. I feel a bit scattered with all of the projects, tasks, etc. that I have out there. Giving myself an hour this morning to try to pull it all together into something that I can at least force myself to look at.
So my big goal for today:
Organize the mind dump that I did last week into projects
prioritize projects and lists
meeting with my boss this afternoon. perhaps he can help me determine what's most important. I always have a hard time asking for this type of direction as I want everyone to think that I'm eminently competent. Ha!
Reminder to myself today: be humble and honest.

Wishing everyone a proactive, even if imperfect, day! :)
Good morning! Working from home today and only working 1/2 day cause I have a dr. appt. this afternoon. may or may not go to the gym after the doctor. Making todo list now!
