Crazybug afternoon CI

not a very good day today. :( But, I'm not going to let that get me down for the evening plans. I'll just come in and reassess and set new goals in the morning.

I'll focus on my success in actually getting out to exercise last night. That was a big accomplishment. Plus I got lots of stuff done around the house. Maybe I over did it yesterday and I have a 'productivity hangover' ;)

goals for this evening:

  •  Cook dinner
  • Put up laundry
  • Play with DS
  • Listen to voice mails
  • Play with J
  • Start thank you notes
  • Feed pets
  • Plan meals and make grocery list
  • Pay bills, reconcile, budget
  • Walk dog
  • Wash face, brush teeth, floss, moisturize

 Show up (done)

Funny how signs of economic recovery are similar to signs of PA ewcovery.

Yesterday was my bday. I had enough recovery to throw myself a surprise bday party. I was more surprised than anyone. Bought a cake, and food, candles, and played "Happy bday" song" on cell phone message from friend. It was the best. My husband and kids were so suprised and had fun. Signs of recovery: "I" am responsible for my life and choices I make and my own happiness.(Last year I was drowning in self pity)- this feels so much better- Now if only I could maintain that thinking...Thanks for being here.

Happy Belated Birthday Vic!

Good for you!  Keep it up. We'll be here to support you as you make your path towards recovery.

Finished my exams.

Exams got over today.

I wanted to get a work buddy.

  • Install GFI (just do it, even imperfectly)
  • Read, relax
  • Bed by 11 p.m.

Laer ... I figured out how to paste my old posts in when I want to update status. I was something of a nuisance but if other Firefox users want guidance on it, I can help.
Still later ... I did okay. Half my evening stuff got postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. I hit one lick on the CIO project instead of the four I'd hope for, but it's not a complete screwup. I spent a long time on the morning query, because I wanted to look up a bunch of new magazine prospects and send them all a decent article proposal.  But, generally, considering that I have a moderately bad cold, not a bad day. I didn't explicitly procrastinate much, at least. What didn't get done, didn't get done for a reason, not just that I was unwilling to even try. I'm looking forward to doing better tomorrow.

Thanks much to everybody who reads this or just visits this page so I can pretend you're reading it. Somehow, having you here makes me feel as though I'm obligated and I'm being held accountable to do this stuff. I guess I'm saying I want to do it for you. Is that crazy? Maybe so. But it's a good kind of crazy. Hope you're well. Scribbler

YES!  That should be our objective every day.   I love it.

kromer 8:50 CI

I'm flying out to california today; I have some tasks to get done before I go.

Specifically, I need to:
*Gather papers (made progress on this)
*Take samples for histology (made progress on this)
*Take care of expt
*Place order
*Talk to MC about stategy

*Email WSC and JM
*Financial stuff/est taxes

If extra time: work on organizing (have done a little of this), clean off slides

Then, on the plan I'll try to read 4 papers + 3 biochem chapters.

OK, working on expt. now.

Rexroth Check In

Done:
Up prayer and reflection
Out to post letters at post office and shopping in town for bedding, exercise weights, and an electric kettle. Also looked at plates and cameras which I don't understand and after help don't understand any better
Home and checked emails and post

Todo:
Unpack shopping, check it, file receipts and record figures
Write journal
Reflect on why I feel so bad having spent money which I have and need to and maybe write about it
Then I'm not sure

Regards Rexroth
