NEW...NEW...PA Phone Bridge Wednesday Night 45 Minute Meeting

We will launch our first one hour phone meeting on the phone bridge the last week of June.  The meeting is a cross focus format dedicated to discussion on procrastination as it relates to all areas of our lives.  We have many members of PA that work multiple programs and this meeting will allow sharing of strength experience and hope for all members.

There are opportunities for service at this meeting and anyone interested please email me your contact information and I will send out materials related to the new meeting format.

Thanks Verzonni, Kitty and Helen for shedding some light on how this works. Might have to look into using Skype.

How does the phone bridge work?

findingaway

I would like to join the phone meeting but don't know if I can call from overseas (Australia). What time will it be - our time zones are very different here - but would still like to do it if it is not in the middle of the night.

Thanks Spirit, look forward to hearing more.

How to figure out the time of the phone bridge

Findingaway,

You can use this link to figure out what time it is there when it is X:30 AM (or whatever) here. The Eastern Time Zone equivalent to U.S.A. - New York, New York

Converter?

Thanks, Kitty

Oh, yeah, the actual link would be really helpful, wouldn't it?

Calling phone bridge from overseas

Hi Finding, I use Skype to call the phone bridge (a US number) from within the US, so I would imagine you can use it to call from Australia as well.  There will be a per-minute charge for the call, but Skype is usually much cheaper than paying through a regular voice carrier, especially international calls to or from the US.

What you do is call the US number, enter a 6-digit PIN and press the # key, and then listen carefully to make sure you entered the right number.  Then you confirm it, and PRESTO! you're connected to the phone bridge.

Phoning from the UK

Im in the UK and use Talk Talk (landline). They have a 'free calls to the USA' deal so my phone checkins are free. :)
