Good morning everyone.  Someone else is going to have to post the greeting and picture because I'm not sure how to do that.  I'm really sorry.  I've never been the first to post before!

EDIT: Well I'm sorry it looks like I shouldn't have posted here without a morning greeting.  My browser limits what I can do here so I'm not sure how to put up a picture with a morning greeting.  Hope you all are having a good and productive day.  It helps to know others are fighting the same thing with you!

Very bummed that I wasted so much time today.  I keep thinking that tomorrow will be the day that I start, but everyday is today and not tomorrow.  I wish I could figure out why I seem to resist doing what I WANT to do ...

  Show up (done)

Did alot of family stuff that does not "show" 1. son took driver test, missed parallel parking, and I (most gratefully) was a support for his disappointment. That took all day. 2. some cyber lessons with other son. So feel like did not get to any of my "stuff" and house is a mess. so now I will break it down and go to chat room.

I need to remember that when he grows up, he is not going to remember the messy house, but he will remember  how I was there for him. and for that I am grateful.

Thanks for being here.

Falcon CI Wed.

Hi everyone!

I haven't checked in for a while, and I'm really tempted to go read all the threads & catch up on how everyone's doing. . . but right now that would be procrastinating.

Hope everyone's doing well!

I need to get on top of a bunch of little things this evening:

  • Hang laundry
  • Launder & hang another load
  • Brush teeth
  • Use teeth stuff
  • Check/pay bills
  • Empty/refill dishwasher
  • Sweep kitchen floor
  • Get clothes ready for tomorrow

Another busy but fruitful day...added 2 new team members, yay!  Finished 1 more major project, 2 meetings, and major progress on the next big project. Delegated some work to someone who's better at it than I am, and dodged another project entirely (better to say no than freak out when I can't finish it; knowing my true vs fantasy limitations is a gift of my PA recovery)!

Helen's CI

Well still in a big procrastination slump. Red dots not gold stars for days. I did have a great time at my new creative writing class. At last some people I can hang out with who I really like and feel comfortable with. I am being gentle with myself today and seeing if I can find some further support from a life coach I had last year to get me going again as I am 'pickled in aspic' at the moment.

I am reading a self-help book too this afternoon and I do have to do the washing up as the gasman is coming early tomorrow. Some of it might end up in bleach in the bath but my place won't be smelly at least. Sigh.

Tomorrow I will use all the phone checkin I can as well as the chatbox and get stuck in but today I have slept most of the day and I am still tired and VERY resistant and more than a bit fed up.

I had a good month in March but April has been more difficult. I wish I understood why I was like this. I have been through a lot of stuff and  healed a lot of stuff.  Procrastination is my last and deepest problem and today I have little hope that I can change permantly although I have some hope that tomorrow I will have more hope and this wading through syrup feeling is just a temporary 'bad patch'.

Journey 10 am

Thanks for starting us out Really!   Wow the forum is empty this morning, where is everybody!

I'm getting a late checkin but doing pretty good so far today.   I've been to the gym, had breakfast, made todo list and schedule, checked email and calendar.   Now I'm gonna grab a quick shower.   I'm getting off early today for a dental appointment and I'm taking Friday off, so yay.   I feel much better today but I really do need a mental health day, thus the vacation day on Friday.

Later!
