book review forum

Hi there!

If you or anyone else knows of inspirational or practical books -- specifically those that could aid in our recovery from procrastination, it would help if you posted a separate thread about each book on the Book Reviews forum.

Each book should have its own thread, preferably titled with the title and/or topic of the book. That way, we can FIND the book reviews.

Books, essays, and blogs .... anything you'd read. (Perhaps also, some podcasts that are equivalent to books, perhaps?) The focus is BOOKS, but in our digital age, that could mean various things. Members have reviewed various "tools" there.

It doesn't have to be a fancy book review. Remember "Avoid perfectionism"! Just say "I read this book and it helped me" ... and maybe a few words why.

You can even post a thread about a book, asking: "I've heard of this book, has anyone else read it, and has it been helpful?" (just put the title in the thread title).

And you can post recommending a book, even if you haven't finished reading it!  Avoid pefectionism! If the book is helping you recover from procrastination, why not let us know right now?

NOTE: Many people post mention of helpful books inside the daily check-in threads, which is fine. But that helps others only if they are reading that particular day's thread. So perhaps ALSO mention the book on Book Review Forum?

It would be nice to be able to easily find the books at any time.

The Book Review Forum is here:

(the forum is officially titled: "Procrastination Books", and that's how it's listed on the forums menu.)

This board is for book reviews. Put the book name in the Subject, then say what you think of it in the body of the message. Others can add comments if they've read the book, too.

I'm just a member here, seeking the knowledge and resources of my brother and sister members.

At the time I am writing this, there are currently two pages of book reviews.

Hope to see more books and essays discussed there.

Thanks!
