fudo_shin : on bottomlines - 11:35pm

One of the ways that people in my other programs establish bottomlines,
is by working a first step.  During the first step the person writes down
what items she is powerless over, and then she specifies
how her life has become unmanagable on account of them.  Then,
the person would use the items from the list of items which she feels powerless over and choose some of those as bottomlines.  A bottom
line has also been described to me as something that one really wants
to stop doing, but feels that she cannot quit.  I've read program
literature in other programs that suggest a bottomline is an activity that once engaged in results in uncontrollable addictive behavior.  In my other programs, a bottomline is an absolute, and defines sobriety.  People take chips (that resemble plastic poker chips) for certain lengths of time that they have sobriety: one-day chip, one-week chip, one-month chip, one-year chip, two-year chip, etc.    That is why I am writing here that I'm "taking a chip" at certain points.

mj sunday checkin moving again

Since we're moving, and between two houses, internet access has been intermittent, so I've been missing the daily checkins.

Whoever said,"You can't take it with you," never moved houses with me. I find that I'm moving or recycling or giving away years of accumulated procrastination and clutter. Papers I meant to file "someday", letters I meant to write, etc. You get the idea. Very discouraging.

Anyway today, I will:

continue working on boxes and cleaning, 2 hours

check in on PA meeting, at least 2nd half

shop

fix dinner

fix bed

Journey 10 am

Good morning PApals!!  Today is housework day for me as I spent yesterday helping out with sick babies.  I did get the grocery shopping done, and threw together a quick dinner, but that was about it for yesterday.

I've roughed out a todo list for the day, and I'm going right now to put dinner in the crock pot, then back to perform triage and sanity check on todo list.

Later gators!

kromer 5:15 CI

I did all my scheduled stuff, took a shower and a quick break. Now, I'm going to do a quick work task (draft email about VAD), then I'll post material for MC, then I'll do budgeting. Will work through this in the chatbox. When this is done, it'll probably be about time to shop and cook dinner.

Update 10--draft email on VAD ended up taking a while (turned out I needed to do some bg research before I could write a good email). But that's done, and I also did shopping and cooking, and left msgs for AG and my parents. Now, I'm going to take 20 min and come up w/ some toplines and bottomlines for PA, then I'll post data for MC (should take 15-20 min)
