hallelujah to this site !

Hiya all .. I'm SO SO SO new to this site. I just googled it hoping with crossed fingers that such a thing exists, and behold - it does! I am just so relieved... and really need some support. It looks like I came to the right place.

Nice to meet you all -

what's NOLA

North of Los Angeles?

welcome. I was reading today my first posts, almost 1 year ago, and i was struck by the fact that one of the best things we can do is post our own recovery stories / struggles and even failures.

Welcome Danielle :-)

Hi Danielle... in NOLA!

Just wanted to say welcome and so glad you found the site! I am also new, 4 weeks this week I think and it is a wonderful place for recovery, insight, encouragement and support. I look forward to getting to know you as you start using the site - I read a lot of the articles and information for wisdom on better ways to handle things, I use the Daily Check In post as a way to be accountable for what I want to get done each day, and I also use the Chatroom during the day to help me get those things done! The online meetings on Sunday are also really helpful. I just jumped in with both feet here and can see a big change in my life already! There are so many people here willing to help! Congratulations on making this step :-)
