ByGodsGrace todays CI

I slept last night instead of forcing myself to stay awake and work and I think that was the better choice!  Can't get to church for both services, but doing pretty well balancing life, work and play for dd this weekend while on deadline... hope for this week, I receive it!

Word and prayer for the day again: Psalm 37:4-5 (amplified)

“Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. 5Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.”

As I seek You in this uncomfortable place, help me to not exit, but keep my eyes on You and face it with Your grace and power. Help me to lean on and be confident in You.

Hi, PA-Pals! Has anyone told you yet today that God loves you? And so do I. Thanks so much for sharing your path to recovery with me.
I need to shower, dress, run out for milk and bananas, feed and dress Mom, take her to church, come back and pack our stuff in the car, visit Dad, go to J's, make salmon spread, get ride to subway, check in to hotel, unpack, find my materials, go to conference, work, eat sanely, bed by 10pm. Since I cannot with any hope of success accomplish all this, I humbly request my Higher Power, aid to make me stronger, clearer, and more useful today, and to accept the outcome with dignity and grace. Amen!

Agnus, you have email from movingalong

Recycler CI 7:10am EST

Hi Pro Buddies!

Having a Time Change where I am, so I need to re-set the clocks this morning.

Re my high blood pressure medicine, I have just now taken it for today so that I don't forget.

It's still very dark outside here. I guess I'll putter around inside for a while.

Our weather improved this weekend. I have to evaluate my bicycle to see if it is ready to go on a ride. I hope to update my CI several times today.

8:10am. Clothes washer & dryer are going. Dishwasher is going. Bike Ride. My bicycle shoes and helmet are in a closet that I have some things stacked in front of. (lol). I will make a few minutes effort; if I can get to the bike shoes & helmet, I may take a short ride. If digging out the closet turns into too big a deal, then I will wait a week or two until another bike riding opportunity.

9:15am. Even though accessing the bike items caused additional chaos (lol), it felt really good to be out on the bike, very few cars driving on the neighborhood streets, etc. I didn't find my bike gloves, but that can be a goal for one of the next times.

Next: see how the clothes and dishes are coming along.

I looked at how the paint is drying in the small bedroom ((sigh)). Larger sections of paint application are needed than I was expecting ((sigh)). OK, I'll start on the needed sections this morning. Then this afternoon evaluate how much more is needed.

12:15pm. Clothes washer & dryer are still going. Dishwasher is still going. Clocks are re-set. I have put something in the oven to bake. Morning round of paint application is done.

About 4pm I will evaluate the paint job again and consider if any re-applications are needed.

Between now and then, will I do any clean-ups around the condo? I guess I will be finding out! ;)

4:30pm. I decided the color paint job is good enough. Eventually I will need to made touch-ups of the white trim. (but it won't be today lol).

I was thinking the room can be my new doll room? ((takes in display shelves)) Yes! It's going to be 90% of the doll room of my dreams, so I'll take it! :) It will take some days/weeks to get it set up properly, but the initial room is ready just in time for Barbie Doll's birthday, tomorrow March 9 :) For the rest of today, I need to be getting ready for work tomorrow, etc, but will also be playing the rest of the day.

8:10pm Fruit Basket Turnover! lol. I've really gotten into putting my doll stuff in the small bedroom. I guess it is really meant to be the doll room lol! I get lots of "play" energy when I am in there lol! ;) Next: write an email to my friend in Singapore, fix my gym bags for this week, then go to sleep!

Have a great day! :)

It works when we "work it". Let's do whatever it takes to find recovery. All are welcome.
