Hi all, I'm new

Hi everyone.

I visited this place for a few days and breathed a sigh of relief when I saw how open people are are about so many of the same things I struggle with.

And the microburst tip was so useful that it encouraged me to think: progress might be possible. It sounds a bit silly but some things are going to be a challenge, like check-ins, because I am so used to setting goals and not meeting them, and associate that with bad feelings, so it's a bit scary to think of making it a regular habit to check in and share my to-do list. Also I have a lot of trouble really understanding the third step...

But I am ready to try... so amidst clutter, a big backlog, paper piles, deadlines and competing projects (which I love when I do not feel overwhelmed), I have stepped in here hoping that I will be able to change, and reassured by the positive and supportive atmosphere I've watched here over a few days...

Yes, isn't it nice to find that you are not alone?    You'll get much non-judgemental support from this wonderful group.

thanks

Hi Jo, thanks for the welcome.:) Yes, it is really good to know that others are struggling with the same things...and making the kind of progress I hope to.

For my next message I'll take the bigger step of posting an MIT...
